Anyone else really enjoying the Winter Olympics so far?

Love the variation of winter sports, and the new events as well, even if my country (The Netherlands) doesn't take part in most snow sports, it's fun to watch.

Speed Skating is really our main sport here and we're doing really good there right now, even unexpected results.

Still quite a while to go, as far as sports/events to come, and I wish everyone's country the best of luck

Some of it has been amazing to watch. Not a fan of the bowles or dancing on ice rubbish tho. Snowboarding and skiing have been really enjoyable to watch

It so odd how different countries become soooo crazy about different sports

I'm from the UK so I'm supposed to be mad about football, cricket and Rugby.... And up until last week had never won an Olympic medal on snow

My missus is from Czech so she is mad on ice hockey and trained to be a figure skater when she was younger

Luckily I'm not a typical Brit and prefer american football, ice hockey and skiing in all forms to the usual Brit stuff...
So I'm loving the games so far

I have only watched about 10 mins, luckily it happened to be when GB got our first medal on snow
With the winter that we are having in Britain, I feel confident that we will win every aquatic event in the world from now on

I watched some speed skating the first day, didn't watch much after that.
To me that's the only interesting thing haha.
I kinda forget about the other sports even though snowboarding and ski jumping are kinda cool too.
I'm a horse type of girl so I guess i'm gonna have to wait for a few years.

the only thing i care remotely about would be the hockey since we're in with a fighting chance. the rest i couldnt be less interested in.

I've surprisingly got into it over the past few days.. thought the snowboarding was brilliant..ive also sat n watched the 'curling'.. and as Norf as said, I'm also only really watching this cos we are in with medal chances..
But, all in all, I think they have done a good job..i think the BBC are covering it spot on..

I've watched the internet for all these pictures and Gifs of the ****ty hotel rooms people get. And they cry about it. At least they have a roof. El o el

+ crying about not having separate stalls to go to the bathroom. most of the world still doesn't have separate stall public restrooms.
