Re: How did you competitive riders start?

Me and a friend were talking about xbox games we had. He mentioned trials and I realised I already had it - played it again and loved it!
A few days later I was looking for track guides and came across Malachyte's videos, along with all his ninja stuff... so I got into ninjas!

I think it's cool how others influenced us into competitive racing. If I remember correctly, I think I started Camzo on his competitive racing, but I dont think anyone remembers him now, lol.

haha I'll never forget the first time I played Trials HD...I was at a buddies house and I was watching him play and I was all like "pffftt that game looks stupid and easy, give me that controller." 500 faults later I stormed out of his apartment all pissed off talking about how stupid of a game Trials was...A few days later I downloaded the demo to get some revenge and the rest is history

played trial bike and trial bike pro over a decade ago on miniclip.com as a kid, years later got into free rider 2, never really heard much about trials after it left browser games behind (never had an xbox) until gold was released on pc. picked it up not long after release and kept setting new goals for myself. beat the game -> gold everything -> plat everything -> top 50 everything -> 0 TYM lol

i love that it is infinitely replayable, i just keep coming back for more

I got #1 on a custom & really enjoyed it. I kept playing TC and kept going for 1st, no matter how many hours it took, all on a custom. Then I thought to myself, if I can get first on these maps maybe I can put up a good run on SP. I was in the 10 000's then I vowed to getting my times under 1000's rank. Accomplished that, then decided to see if I can get them in the 100's. Then I did. Which made me go for the double digits in all.

I know that I don't qualify for a good rider, but anyways, in 5th grade, everyone in my class was obsessed with trials 2 demo, so I tried it and loved it. Then i got xbox and saw that i had the demo for trials hd and fell in love.

TBNSoty. Everytime I seen him pass a level 4 track, I never thought I'd be able to do the same.
Then that ClutchMystaFlex (li Shayne il, dunno if you guys know him? He's not that good)guy one day said I was ready to beat Preposterous...
Now I've come further than TBN and proceeded to pass Preposterous

Trials Evo was the first trials I ever knew about, had no idea the older ones existed until after Evo.

that's how Maybzz became the ultimate ninza!!

Re: How did you competitive riders start?

Getting a replay on HD. Made me want to get a reply on all tracks. Then I just used to pick "Rivals" and say, "I'm gonna beat this dude". Sometime worked, sometimes didn't. Also trying to get through diabolic is what prompted me to find this forum and ultimately people to compete with.

I'm only competitive with riders around my skill level as I don't care about beating those top level wizards. I ain't got the skills for that.
