Hello! Im currently creating a 3D game environment for my college course and Id like to know what your thoughts are on my progress so far.
MINI BRIEF
The environment is based on the moon, within a crater. On that crater is what locals call, 'RedNeck Junction', a rundown space service station for vehicles travels from and to earth. This service station consists of three focal points;
A Saloon
A motel
A gas/rocket fuel depot
hope you guys enjoy
Spoiler: Show
EDIT: sorry I haven't kept you guys up to date with all the work, there was a lot to do![]()
I have provided the finished environment but not any close ups of the other assets, I may do in the future, who knows?
Hope you like it nevertheless![]()

hey that is really nice man! It's looking pretty good for what you are going for and it being in progress. sweeet so far
maybe the emitting light could be toned down a tiny bit so it doesn't bleed out too much![]()

At the moment that light is there to make the model visible, its not supposed to add any visual effect to the object. Yet. All of that will come later![]()
ah coolwould love to see this later on when more has been done. This isn't something that I'm very familiar with but it is something I'm very interested in

To create models, I used Maya. Fortunately for me this £2,000 software is free for students for three years, ill probably look into blender or some other software once that time with Maya expires.
Thanks for the kins words aswell![]()
Free for 3 years??awesome!!
I found this early today >>> MeshFusion for MODO looks neat!!![]()
The saying is open 24/7 not 24/4. Otherwise, its sick.
