I can't play with the stick, I dunno how people do.
I have one problem with the D-pad though.....it breaks the controller.
after a while it starts to pull left when you're not pressing anything, then you have to hold right on the stick for a bit to reset it.....gives you another few minutes before doing it again.
I've gone through 3 controllers, not good.![]()
I used to do this, and I used to swear by it, but I've since moved back to the analog sticks. I never had an issue with the dpad pulling in one direction, but I only have those weird "special edition" transformable silver dpad controllers.
I use the dpad![]()
That pulling the left happens to both the sticks and DPad, it's just the springs keeping the sticks and DPad in the centre is got worn down so it can't keep it in the middle.
I know InfernoTrials uses only A and X which I think is cool because he is one of trials best riders both in Ninja and speedrunning.
I use the dpad on HD, both sticks and dpad on Evo. It completely ruins my thumbs though.
Haha thanks, yeah I just can't use the triggersOriginally Posted by ClutchMystaFlex![]()
I actually didn't realise you could use the D-PadSounds hard to use though. Wouldn't want to try it...

3 Controllers, that's not bad really, lol.
There's nothing worse than the 'pull left' disease that affects our Controllers.![]()
Yeah I am on controller 3 right now. I have no idea how people use the Dpad...
I use X for braking most of the time unless the technique requires gradual braking.
Used the dpad on hd. Switched to the analog stick for evo. I've def had a couple cases of the constant lean thing. Super annoying! I've always used the triggers for gas and brake. Can't imagine using the A button for gas. Only use X for brake if I need to get the rear end up on some extreme obstacles.
