Hey ya, first time posting after all these years. The HD forum seems pretty dead these days, but I may as well announce that yesterday I took #1 in Down the Mines and #2 in Outside the Ball.
There's a couple more skill games I can get #1 in, so I'll be going hard at getting those ones too. As for the #2 I'll come back to it in a few days, shouldn't take too long.
Keep riding!
Might go for Pinball Pit next, climbed from #95 to #11 today, doesn't seem too bad... I reckon passing the 4th bomb is possible if I can work out a method for positioning the rider to the right or left enough to avoid it. I mean it works just fine for bomb segments on the other 'inside the ball' level, so i don't see why not.
Also thinking of getting my ancient #6 on Paddle wizard to #2. #1 is too far out my reach for now. Man JayEmB totally destroys at that one for sure.
Nuuuu, I'm terrible at anything but skill games! Probably cause I use analog instead of arrow buttons (pretty sure that's what all the pro's use, right?) also I just plain suck. >_<
idk a lot of the top riders on HD used the d-pad from what I remember. Getting used to the analog stick on evo was sorta tough for me being so used to the d-pad from hd.Originally Posted by MTSuonare22
I use and always used the sticks, never touched DPad, sticks give a lot more control on both Trials if you can get use to it. Putting the stick top right will make make the rider lean forward but not as much as a direct hold to the right. On the DPad it's just simply up left down right. Don't know about anyone else on HD tho, I just assumed everyone used sticks, you can see from replays what people use.
D-Pad is far and away better than analog for HD
Shockwave, Slinky, KO (at the end), Burnzee (at the end) all used Dpad.
I changed from the stick to the d-pad because Slinky was destroying everything at one point with the d-pad. Much superior on HD for sure, even tho saying that Chicago AJ never really used it and got to the same level!!
