    Track build orders

So I wonder, how do you guys start, driveline or deco?

I've been focusing on decoration first and for the most part also takes the most of my building time, but I feel it might downgrade my drivelines as I sometimes force myself into certain track lengths to certain heights/areas, especially working with terrain.

I might try to switch my build orders around starting with the lines, and adding the "theme" later, usually I do have theme ideas on paper or in pictures ready to use.

Also on curved tracks I noticed it's almost impossible to properly adjust a curve when deco is already in place without messing up parts before/behind it. So it might be better to have it in place.

My first ever track back in the day "donkey mountain" was basicly a spiral and then built up around it, and it seemed to work

I seem to usually build both the line and the deco at the same time for some reason.

That can work too, build as you go forward.

Hey, when i build its always the dl first, then i decide on a theme to suit the dl. I have got friends that do deco first then the dl so i guess either way works. Not much help i know but thats what i do

Thanks, well I think both ways work, I just tend to end up with flat areas of track (especially on a straight line) and have a harder time thinking up obstacles that fit, rather then new deco
