I really loved Nintendo back in the days, especially the Big N vs Sega battle which was interesting, not like the MS and Sony fight today which is just pathetic.

I do like the Wii U, a good idea to play with fam and friends, good for an evening of entertaining, but:

meanwhile N still has his "Kids console" reputation and they will most likely never get rid of it.
i like them ideas and a lot of their games but N is imo still not competitive.
the facts of the "new" one look very good, like the Wii U's but yet they don't take full advantage of it when it comes to games.

i always loved the fact that N focuses on gameplay and fun, not on having epic graphics

but they're terrible at bringing new IPs.
See how many small devs Microsoft has hired which made more than half of the arcade games!

Well, I can't tell how the gameplay and fun factor is, but I know they're for 7 to 11 yrs and for 30+ matures which are more family-oriented. I would never ever consider buying any Nintendo console if they keep having the same games for these age groups. They should start having more balanced with the age appeals, or else they never get new people from different groups.
