Help me please..different accounts playing trials. SOLVED.

If, hypothetically, I had access to a team account gt, and I've downloaded that profile to my xbox and it all logs in ok.
Can anyone tell me why that account runs all arcade games I have bought on my main account as full games BUT trials only loads as a demo with no dlc.
If I load trials and dlc, hypothetically, as cruelty then sign out and in on this made up account it freezes with cannot access dlc.
    Anyone help me?

Well in my experience. If you buy a game on the Xbox then it works for all profiles, including DLC. If you buy a Game or DLC on a different Xbox but the same account and then have to license transfer the Game/DLC over then it only works for that account. Did you buy the game/DLC on that same Xbox?

Yeah, if the game was downloaded on a different Xbox, then it's not going to work on a different account. Except in my experience, I've had some arcade full-games inexcusably disappear on me when I've tried using my most current account 've had the same xbox for 3-4 years). It's possible that has happened to you, hypothetically speaking.

As for me, I'm just grateful it has never happened to me with Trials.

    Re: Help me please...

there is a solution for this but its kinda inconvenient.
Hook up a 2nd controller to your xbox, sign player 1 in with the tag you bought trials on,
sign player 2 in with the tag you wanna play on.
Put player 1 controller away and start trials up with the player 2 controller. it should work.

i have used this method in the past to play games i did not buy myself.
a friend would loan me his gamertag and i would play arcade games for free with this method.

If you load up the game, then load up a track. Then sign out and back in it should work. It did for me.

Yea that method works but he is looking for a method that is a one off method and that doesn't cause him any inconvinience without having to pay for the game again

    Re: Help me please...

Ok. The problem has been solved. And here's how.
It was caused by me buying trials and dlc on a xbox 360 then getting a new 360 and re downloading it.
It still worked fine for cruelty because that account purchased it however a downloaded profile was unable to play it.
This is because a licence is bound to the specific console the game was purchased on and the owner/purchaser of the game.

HERES THE FIX and it's easy.
    1. Perform a licence transfer - it's in the system settings somewhere I can't remember where.
    2. Go to download history and find the problem game.
    3. Re download game from history.
    4. Repeat for dlc.

This then adds the transferred licences to the downloaded game.
Re downloading only takes a few seconds because it's already on your machine.

Now I can run and play trials from any account without doing the sign out/in trick.

Good times. Thanks for the responses.
