    Individual checkpoints

I know this has been attended to before, but what the actual flying duck. Why is there so many unnecessary individual checkpoints, and why are they rated so highly.

A recent 5 series of individual checkpoints that was just released as a full track :TamaiiTsU, are mostly at the top, and sorry, but they're not made very well, no deco at all, barely lvl 1..........???????

    Like wuttttttttttttttttttt

I'm going to release individual checkpoints if this continues titled hardest challenge ever, and put a hill for each checkpoint, it's crazy. Just release the full track, unless it's necessary.

I don't necessarily play individual CPs myself ( as in never ) but they seem to be very popular for grinding out a technique that works on a specific obstacle people have trouble with.

A thing to note here is that a level 1 ninja is still something that the majority of the playerbase can not deal with or at least struggle to complete. These individual CPs are great for that kind of practise.

I totally agree. When an extreme track is released you are just expected to complete it in 1 'sitting', the way i feel it should be.
If people want to perfect a certain checkpoint, do what everyone did with the extremes- practice the whole track.
I guess the question is - who keeps rating these so high?!

I'd wager it's the people who find these helpful.

Totally agree, why are they released as individual tracks? If people want to get better at a particular obstacle then they can load up the whole track and hit it over and over again. The new feeds are clogged with CP tracks. And they aren't even that good!!! I hope Trials Fusion there is some restriction on how many tracks you can upload in a set time.

If I wanted to get better at the last CP of Maborosi Lite, I wouldn't even dream of going through the whole thing again just to have no faults or time left for proper practise. THAT is the appeal and use for the single-cp uploads. Them being good or not is highly subjective and kind of besides the point.

Yeah that's a fair enough point, Perhaps a dedicated Ninja/CP feed Redlynxs?

If you've never played them...then why are you arguing for something that you have no experience in. Look at it this way, imagine ridge tracer, easy right? well if people uploaded individual checkpoints of hills, you'd go..uhhhh what the duck, but...a lot of people would still finish it, and the same reasoning applies, to help learn a technique/throttle control etc.

Individual checkpoints that aren't good/aren't designed to help people, basically trash should not be near the top of highest rated, since other people have put hours and hours into their tracks, opposed to a 1 minute individual checkpoint which shouldn't even be on there.

Whereas if the obstacle is hard, well thought out and is genuine, then there's no harm in putting it on track central, some examples are killard's fatality, or mabyzz's apollo. And if someone can't do lvl 1-2 ninjas without the individual checkpoints, then they shouldn't even be doing them, i'm not being harsh, but from day dot it's worked out fine doing individual cps' of 4+.

I would absolutely love to see this in Fusion. Also, "Ninja" as a difficulty instead of a tag so it's easier to immediately spot what is extreme and what is ninja.

I would also support an individual feed for cp's, but It's not going to happen.
