    FPS Skillgame "Ambience"

I have recently just released a first person shooter skillgame, called "Ambience" and I was hoping for some feedback from you guys. It is very similar to COD zombies, with purchasable weapons off the wall (for a set amount of points), purchasable ammo for the weapons (by rebuying the weapon for half price), a purchasable garage door (for a set amount of points), and rounds (or waves) of zombie-mechs. It also includes the following...
    [list:3ou7vrnb]
    - four unique weapons (pistol, shotgun, sniper, assault rifle)
    - the ability to smoothly look down the scope of each weapon (Hold Left Trigger)
    - the ability to fire each weapon (Press/Hold Right Trigger)
    - an animated reload animation for each (Press Right Bumper)
    - the ability to carry two weapons (Press Y to swap)
    - a sprint ability and animation (Click Left Stick and keep Left Joystick pushed forward)
    - a jump ability and animation (Click Left Bumper)
    - the ability to purchase weapons/ammo/doors (Hold Right Bumper when near object)
    - the option to invert the y-axis of movement (Click Right Stick)
    - up to 5 zombie-mechs spawned on the map at a time
    - increasingly difficult enemies that get faster and stronger each round[/list:u:3ou7vrnb]
There are many ambient sounds in the map (hence the name) and so I suggest playing the map with headphones. It is much scarier that way. To purchase a weapon/ammo/door you must Hold Down The Right Bumper. It says this in the instructions, but I didn't have room to type out Hold Down. I put a few weeks worth of effort into making the gun animations and it would be amazing if more people could see it. My custom First Person Character was designed from scratch as well, using no part of the developer's First Person Character.

The map name is Ambience. It can be found in Highest Rated This Week until Saturday.
If it is not there, my gamertag is PneumaticBog484.

If you did get a chance to play it, what are your thoughts on it?
    Did you find any glitches?
Did your game lag, and if so, how much?
Do you have any suggestions on how to make it better?
Any ideas will be helpful, even if negative.

Thanks for taking the time to read this!

Sorry, I wanted to try this skill game out but I couldn't remember. Maybe tomorrow if I hold it in my brain.

The concept seems pretty cool. A video of this would be nice at some point for us not on the Box

Unfortunately i don't own any recording hardware for the xbox. I'm thinking about getting some for the future, but for the moment I've got no video. Thanks for the response though!!

Absolutely loved it...until it crashed. I was holding up in the barn but the zombies come through the side of the wall slightly and got me. It then went red and crashed my xbox. Got to level ten though!

    Other bugs-

Points sometimes just dissapeared even stood near the weapons.
Couldn't buy bullets sometimes thats why I died.
Some zombies got so close shooting would not kill them.
Thus they got too close and some didnt attack me, looked like they get sucked into a vortex and spin inside themselves until i backed off and killed them.
Dont understand the bullet loadout. Just looks like a load of random numbers to me.

All in all, one of the best fps I have been on trials. Really cannot imagine the time it took to make the weapons and the reload animations. Good job!

The zombies are actually not physically there, they are being moved by object position events using sine and cosine functions, so when they get real close the angle they use goes crazy since they can't "face" you while being so close. This is why they look like they are spinning in a vortex. And because they are not physically there, that also means they can pass through objects as you probably noticed. Thats just part of their design, which is why the map is so open. And thanks for noticing the points change! Thats actually the price for the weapon/ammunition, so when you see the points change thats when you can buy the item. As for the ammo counter its a two part system. The number to the left of the decimal is the amount in the magazine, while the number to the right is the amount in storage. It's actually a repurposed "meter" counter, which allows me more more room on screen. I was originally gonna use a number for the amount in storage, and a vertical meter for the amount in the magazine, but it looked ugly.

Thanks for giving my track a look over!! That xBox crashing bug actually plagues all my maps. It's a real mystery to me, and usually happens to EVERYONE who plays my maps for more than 10mins. If you have contact with an Editor Pro that could troubleshoot that, it would be awesome. Thanks again for checking out my map! I appreciate all the feedback!

the crashing issue , does that also happen on your trials tracks or do you only build skillgames?

there used to be a thread almost a year ago about xbox crashing in skillgames but it was never solved( we couldn't pinpoint why it happened)
