    vaporized

Sry couldn't find my track thread but i made a new track vaporized.
I'm considering to release a noob version that gives you more time to finish.
I was thinking maybe 30sec or is that still to fast?

GREAT track. Great. Beautiful detail, beautiful setting, driving line is as addictive as it is fun as it is frustrating. But yes, maybe it's a bit fast (for some players) the way it is now.

Edit: In case you missed it, I found this track to be great.

    Re: is it to fast?

The first few times I played this track I just kept driving face first right into the wall at the end. "HOW THE *#^% DO I FINISH THIS TRACK!"

It helps to read the description BEFORE playing...

I think the 24s is reasonable...makes you keep pushing until you get that good run. It's hilarious when you're right at the limit and the door slams in your face as you race towards the end.

Superb track...nominated for a RL pick!

I really like this track except for ONE LITTLE THING.

The only way to finish it is to get the platinum medal, yet there are plenty of checkpoints. If you really need the checkpoints then you won't be able to finish it anyways.

It is possible to fault and still pass the track.

This is one of THE best tracks out at the minute. I thought I knew how to make custom objects look unique but this is something else. Amazing.

I think something got lost between what I was saying and what you think I am saying.

Most of the people who will be able to pass this track will not do so if they need to use checkpoints could fault once and still finish, and I am much better at Trials than the average Trials player). I think the track is nice and technical, I like that, and the drill press and other machinery is absolutely amazing. I also think that the 24 second requirement to even be able to post a time to the leaderboards makes this track, at least, an extreme track.

Less than 20% of the people who have downloaded the track have been able to finish it (currently 26 people). I don't think that a trials track should expect you to be a sub 2k player to even be able to finish, yet this one seems to and it is rated as a hard track. There are ninja tracks that are more forgiving than the time limit imposed on this track which makes me question the true difficulty.

    I thought that the point of this thread was Pep asking if the time was too fast. If so, then I would have to say;

Yes, 24 seconds is too fast. It is not enough time for MOST players to be able to come close to finishing. They will end up raging and quitting instead of saying "Oh, I gotta go faster" and continue trying. He can set the time to whatever he wants, it's his track, but if he wants more than a few hundred people to be able to beat his track then this time is far too harsh.

We aren't the typical Trials player. We are the minority. The forums are a very small slice of players. The people who can get a top 10,000 time is 00.6% of players. The people on the forums have closer to a 99% chance of having at least on top 10k time. Most Trials players will think "Oh, I can beat hard tracks, so I can beat this... Why is this door closed? Screw this track" and just move on.

I guess the question is: is the question asked in this thread really just about the players on the forum, or is it about 99% of the people playing Trials Evolution?

    Re: is it to fast?

Wow thanks fellas. I know the time limit can be challenging for the lesser trained but i wanted to make sure people would put some effort in their run. the rating is less important to me.
I kept the checkpoints so if someone wants to improve his run he can see the green numbers. I personally always look at them and if they're not green i restart.
after reading everyone's responses I'm not going to upload a easy version
