Considering all the talent that the community has to offer, would you guys like to see a storefront?
The community has many artists, stupendous track creators, and overall, talented people.
Now what if we had an option where we can share our work with the community? One where you can sell a custom object you've made or maybe even auction it off! Things like this would be interesting to use.
What if you made a custom sound collaboration? You would be able to sell it for other people to enjoy.
Please tell me what you think about an option like this. Negative or positive.

I can see where yoyr coming from mate, but 'selling' stuff just wouldnt work..the whole idea of TC and building is to show people very different techniques, stlyes etc, that EVERYONE can enjoy..Not everyone would be in a position to purchase stuff, and would totally kill the enjoyment factor..if it come at a price, then there would be all sorts of back stabbing, and bad vibes i think...![]()
no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no ,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,n o,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no
regardless of it has money involved or not, just no
track are supposed to be unique
and i don't wanna see the same object over and over again because it looks good, it wouldn't make the tracks by noobs any better, because they would still only put the same effort in it (aka none at all)
instead they should just make it easier to work together on a track
so an object central NO
It's not because you download like a custom object from someone you have to use it the same way. It can be good for ideas, improve it further, changing it. It can be specially good for sharing basic setups/setups for skill games. And you don't have to share if you don't like it, but why not making it an option? Gold has a site to share customs too, it's not like you see them in every track now, but it already helped alot of people.Originally Posted by sparkierjonesz
And yes noob tracks won't improve by it, but you wouldn't play them anyway so why should that matter...
It's still up to you if you descide to share something or not.
I'm not against it, nor am I for it. But I don't think it would hurt the game if it would be implemented. (not the store btw, just the sharing option)
Im talking about little things like consoles, machinery, doors, windows, vending machines, trashcans, furniture - stuff like that would hardly stifle creativity and creators would more than likely keep their best stuff private anyway.Originally Posted by sparkierjonesz
And as I said about coding, people could download a group of ope tiles that allows them to do achieve something they'd never work out alone - I dont see it damaging user tracks, I think it would help spread some ideas around, inspire new tracks/themes and maybe help new builders get into the habit of putting more detail into their tracks.
I think it could be a good idea with some sort of in game currency like has been mentioned, maybe the medals you get for tracks could be the currency? Bronze = 50 credits, Silver = 100...etc
I like the idea of sharing objects, lets be honest, we all use the same objects anyway that are provided on the game.
first it would make the noob tracks and decent/good tracks harder to distinguish, and what might look like something promising in the future for the less skilled might just be a copy paste from the object centralOriginally Posted by basslineux001
the site for gold can't be compared with because first very few tracks are made on gold and even less that even know it exists, the ones that use it now are people that know about it from on the forum so those wil by nature already put more effort in their tracks
what this would do on fusion is open it up for 100.000's of people and just as many noobs that wont put effort in their tracks
and you are more likely to play noob tracks because there might be actually something that did take effort(someone else's) to make for once on the thumbnail
it would be harder to tell how much effort they put into building it because they can just "steal" it from the object central
what i want is easier colaboration, working together on a track with a friend or so(similtanously or not) but just friends , certainly not public
i don't mind sharing what i made or what i know, but i wanna know that what i share will be used by someone who puts effort in his tracks
i understand you point of view willy, but the thing is, lets say someone wants to decorate a house now, he will go to object central and look for deco, and we will just see the same set of "custom" objects over and over again
i also understand for coding because it takes some effort to learn and to get started with it, but the thing with it is that if you change 1 thing in it it can completly mess up, even deleting just an opening door from a house to replace it with something else(you rewire the new object) and it has the posibility to not work, you need to understand it before you can use it

I also think it's a good idea but if the tracks are the same ...
Except maybe if we can choose the price, if we have money online (like the solo).
If the group is sell for 2 million $, I think it's ok
But it's also a good way to give money (boost) to other players (and BTW make fake groups just to earn money 'unlegit') ...
