Why not? Being a top rider is all about the ability to do everything. Burnz, Stevie, myself, and even more will use this if it doesn't get fixed.

If they simply remove the times/scores but don't fix the glitch, they should not be able to penalize people for using it. That's just ridiculous. Suppose someone else finds it later, are they going to message people individually telling them not to use it?

They should just leave it like Underground. I believe a dev even stated the Underground shortcut was a legit method of beating the track. It's no different than this.

Tree Flinger is not fun, and it never will be fun. Only people that would find tree flinger fun would be the ones that were terrible at the track.

Gotta say I agree with AJ, if the glitch isn't fixed, then just leave it be. A precedent has already been set by underground in HD. I can see how it would be super annoying for other top riders though.

Hey guys,

After taking a look at this particular glitch we've decided to try and nip this one in the bud before it gets out of hand. Currently there are a relatively small number of players who have exploited the glitch so we are looking at removing these scores. Players who used the glitch will have the score removed and global score recalculated. For now we will not consider this cheating but if players continue to use the glitch we may reconsider on a case by case basis.

I won't be exploiting this one, I wish I never did the one on HD for underground for starters. Glad this is being done though.

Good, i actually suggested that last week in the WR thread i think.
Really sucks for people like me that put time into that torture glitch but thats our own problem.

Maybe you guys can check tree hugger every week or two for glitchers and remove them again.
Maybe even send them a warning message that they will be completely reset if they keep doing it.

i can almost guarantee that a "certain french player" will do it again lol. i dont understand why he wasnt permanently
banned in the first place after he had dozens of modded times and fake WR's, but whatever.
i guess modding isnt seen as a huge offence by RedLynx

Stevie & Burnz said they did it because they were (almost) certain RL wouldnt fix it and they wanted to "get it out of the way"
When i saw all that and found out about that trials HD glitch that never was fixed, i decided to also "get it out of the way"
Pretty sure other top guys did it for similar reasons..
