    Re: Tree Hugger Vote

My score uses the glitch but I only beat my old time by .2 and it's currently around 45.xxx. I will be able to beat it again legit though so no need to worry. I just wanted to see if I could do it.

Not fussed if you still want to remove my time though as it would be pretty easy to get a similar time or better legitimately.

    Good call I say though.

Players who used the glitch will have the score removed and global score recalculated. Well with how quickly you all have dealt with the Pain Island Hill Climb (and by quickly I mean never) I'll bet this will be never.

Have faith AJ, we shall hopefully sort out that glitched score of yours soon.

Good to see a official response, but unless there is a way to fix the glitch permanently, you're just delaying the inevitable.
After you stop policing the Tree Hugger boards, everyone will do the glitch all over again.
(Not trying to be negative, but it's a fact.)

For example: modded scores on Trials HD used to get removed very quickly. But now a lot of the tracks top spots are held by modders, and have been for months.

Steve he's not actually removing the glitch, just taking the score off any account that has done it, and yea, they will be taking your score completely off unless there is an archive of previous times which I doubt cause that would be too much storage. But yea, they will be just taking every time off if anyone does a time on there etc. I'm guessing if there is repeat people doing it then it will be a complete leaderboard wipe.

Like I care, I'll still be 9th without the 23,000 points from it.

If this will take a patch, I doubt RL will shell out 40 grand for one track.

This has to be the most ******ed solution I've ever read. Since the leaderboards are hardly patrolled as it is, there's absolutely no way devs are going to manually wipe scores. If they don't fix the glitch, they better leave the runs people have gotten because it's just going to happen over and over.

Penalizing people for something they're neglecting to fix (as you put it) would be like a mechanic telling you your engine is broken and he couldn't fix it, but it'll be fine as long as you don't drive it.

Just to be clear. I don't care either way if it's fixed or not. I only did it to get the points I know I could. If there's a shortcut, everyone will try and utilize it (see the Underground shortcut in HD). And if my score gets wiped from that track, big deal. I go for top 10 again and call it a day.

I had 23,186,980 before the shortcut. But I'm sure with the time removed completely I'll lose 250,000+.
