Thought I'd start this thread regarding ninja tracks not getting picked.


I did not agree with a recent comment that if you can't do ninja you don't care about the game, this is utter rubbish, however......I do think there are some pretty special ninja tracks being created.

I do think 1 ninja track should be picked each week as should 1 Supercross 'IF' there is one that is worthy.....BUT.............

No ninja track that is released as individual checkpoints first should be considered.
Release your track or don't, if ninjas need to see each part of the track before committing to it then the creator should lay down a time so others can watch a replay, just as everyone else has to if they can't figure out how to pass a track.
I'm tired of seeing creative talent pushed out by ninja checkpoints that are rated 5* simply because the person who has completed it is so proud they rate it highly so as to push it up the feeds for all to see.

I think ninja tracks need to be considered in a different way. They are rarely pretty but, the time it would take to test such a track so as to make every obsticle perfect would be considerable. Even though these guys have a very good technical ability, doesn't mean they find the track they are creating easy....if they did what would be the point as others would find it just as easy for this discipline.

MaybzzzVX's Ardous is really worthy for a pick, and it's a ninja. So many people put so much effort to make ninja tracks look good.

That whole no CPs thing is dumb. I never would have passed ragnarok if they didn't exist.

Agreed, I just don't think the tracks should be released as checkpoint tracks first.
I'm trying to get together a good argument here so RL will take notice and maybe see some good ideas come out of it that will keep everyone happy but so far people have been very dismissive
If I mentioned the tracks not looking so special it would have been for a majority.
Most ninja tracks I have seen have been all about the line, it's the special tracks that have both a line and deco that I am 'trying' to get some recognition for.

I'm aware of the reason but this doesn't give ninjas the right to dominate the 48 hr feeds by pushing 10 tracks out of the 48hr feeds with 10 checkpoint tracks. Play the tracks like everyone else has to.
It's not fair to do this to other creators because ninjas prefer this way of riding.
Like I said, the creator should run it and leave a replay for others to beat, that's trials.
This thread is to try and get ninja creators picks via a compromise....maybe I was wrong to try

I still believe it wouldn't hurt to have the occasional Ninja pick, nothing too outrageous in difficulty though.Ninja's can be built that look the part and are good to run-tracks such as 'Ignant' by Will and Skum's 'Archetype' are really exceptional pieces of work, and are tough but not impossible. I'm no Ninja, but those type/difficulty I could play for hours.

Yea, I absolutely hate seeing single checkpoint tracks at the very top of the 48hr feed. Especially when the full track is going to be pink.
