Just bought this game on winter sale, should have checked the Steam forums for the red flags. The game is unplayable due to constant stutters at a consistent interval, they even persist within the UI. I can knock the settings down to 640x480 windowed and all effects disabled and the same framerate and stutters exist. I repeat the framerate is unchanged from 1080p AA advanced effects to 640x480 windowed! The quality of this console port is unbelievable! All I want is a refund but Steams policy is clear no refunds are issued. I uploaded a video to show, its much worse In realtime and it creates even worse input lag. Watch the in-game clock to see the freezing. youtube[dot]com/watch?v=49RUvaIxPLw
This is probably falling on deaf ears at this point. Not sure Devs even peruse these forums anymore by the looks of things and patch support is probably long been passed. All I can say is i'm extremely disappointed.

The devs do not come on these forums, and I guess you got your money worth for the game. What was it? $3 for the winter sale? lolOriginally Posted by AnyColour
It happened to me in the early game, I solved it by formatting the PC.
We also I recommend take away the option to display foliage ( i think it was the last option) I configured the graphic card to from Nvidia panel control and increasing to 65 Hz monitor i noted a lot of improvement (tearing, for example)
Have the latest drivers from Nvidia?
What you see in your video, can be caused by programs you have open during you play, or even recommend defragmenting your hard drive.
You can also try the program Razer Game Booster, increases FPS and more.
Trials doesn't really like windowed mode btw
That's not true, they just don't always post. I'm sure Mutetus has posted something recently... This is also the only part of your post that should have been posted. It doesn't matter if he spent $3 or $300 on the game. He came here for help and he gets "Oh, you got your money's worth"?Originally Posted by iStriide
@AnyColour - Have you updated your drivers?
Can you try disabling Aero (if enabled)?
What other programs do you have running (maybe check for processes in task Manager)?
Alright so i took some time these past couple days to actually reinstall Windows 7 on a new hard drive I have. I'm on a fresh install, did all windows updates, Newest Nvidia Drivers, Steam then Uplay. I attempted to run Trials again, this time with only Steam and Uplay as background processes. The stutter is exactly how it was, i disabled all AA, effects, foliage and shadows low. The game is simply unplayable and at this point I wonder how anyone has been able to play it at all. My GTX 570 is a capable card especially for what should be little more than a straight Xbox 360 port.Originally Posted by ShiftySamurai
I've tried compatibility settings, disabling Aero (transparency) all forms of VSYNC both in game and Nvidia Control Panel. At this point I just want my 5 dollars back, because no matter what a snarky poster here says I have not gotten my moneys worth, and 5 dollars means something to me. It's become apparent I'm not the only one suffering from stutters since Beta was around with not a fix to be found.
