    PLEASE HELP ME (solved)

So I recently bought trials evolution gold edition off of amazon and they gave me an activation key which I put in to uplay. I got the game and then I clicked install and it took me to the installation wizard. When I clicked install, about 10 seconds in, a message popped up that said: "Error 1335. The cabinet file 'Data11.cab' required for this installation is corrupt ad cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package" Then it gives me three options: abort, retry, ignore. Retry does nothing. Ignore takes it to another error which says: "Error 2350. FDI server error". And abort just cancels the installation. I have windows 8 and I have tried everything that I know of. I tried looking on the internet but that didnt help either. I was wondering if anyone here knew what to do and if you do please tell me. If you have any question you can just ask me. Thank you for your time and I hope I can get this game to work.

    Re: PLEASE HELP ME

im afraid i may not be of a ton of help, but the UPlay servers have been down all day, which may be affecting your ability to install the game (network error) unfortunately the only remedy for this is to wait until the servers are up, which ubisoft staff is presently working on

this, however, may not be the case, and i hope someone can come post some additional aid

hope this is resolved soon, cuz this game is kickass, and you will have a ton of fun with it

    Re: PLEASE HELP ME

Well, I fixed it. All I had to do was install it again off of amazon. I was trying to download it off of uplay. If anyone else had the same problem hope this helps.
