There has been a lot of discussion on the xbox World Record topic over the past week,
In trials Evolution the two platforms share 1 chapter. Crash County.
Whats being raised is the legitimacy of Cross Platform WRs specifically for Trials Evolution on the Xbox and the PC.
What we as PC members are saying:
We believe that times that beat xbox times on any track or tournament should be considered a World Record.
I have asked 12 of our PC group over the past 24 hours of there opinions on any differences if at all.
In summary what we are all agreeing on that I have spoke to is that we feel there is no difference in the physics of the game and the way the game play behaves.
Some clippings of discussions:
What Xbox players are raising:
The talk of input delay has been brought up, That there may be a very minute difference between what you see and what the movements you do on the controller.
Some are saying that any difference at all regardless of how small is reason enough to discuss and consider PC times which are faster then xbox to essentially not count as World records.

Q. Was there any changed made to the gameplay or rider physics in Gold edition,
Is the way the rider physics and gameplay behaves the same as the xbox?
We would all be grateful.

+1000000000000000000000000000000000 Willy. It would make it so you don't have to backtire every little ramp. Which in some cases would save time.
I don't agree with what murdoch wrote Willy
Murdoch has very little playtime on gold in comparison to most and he only played HD tracks, He played the Evo tracks barely any atall.
I have 50 days on the xbox and 26 on the PC
Imo There is no difference to the bike physics.
Cross platform World Records is a no
I agree with blaze. Front wheel is the same as on Xbox. There is also just as many tire glitches on gold as there are on 360.
So you're saying murdoc is lying![]()
Willy I know your'e good friends with mice and speak to him every day,Originally Posted by WILLYUMZ
But that post comes across as nothing more then an attempt to discredit anything PC guys have done and any future records they may get.
I'm saying he is mistaken, The front wheel is exactly the same.Originally Posted by ShartRelief
As are all of the bike physics.
Murdoch probably got thrown off by the video input delay.
That exists, but it has nothing to do with physics.
And there as muscles sais are just as much glitches, If not more because of the PC's buggy Uplay Interface.
Which among other things can Crash your game mid run or bring you out of widowed mode mid run.
The fact is in terms of performance PC trials is worse off. Definitely not better.
Ultimately the games pyhsics and mechanics are identical, the only difference is Tree Hugger.
Who even cares haha it's a wee arcade game that is dying day by day
Dont take everything so personally Blaze, not everything is an attack on the PC version. I remembered that post from Murdoc the first time cross-platform records were talked about and meant to post it then but was at work or something and didnt want to dig for it on my phone.
I threw it up for discussion because its a valid topic to discuss whether you want to or not and it discredits no one.
And Mice and I are NOT friends.
What was your'e reasoning for bringing up then at this specific point it time? The talk of cross platform WRs ended pages and pages back. It naturally must be a coincidence that your post came today with Mices post.
And I didn't take anything personally, But that is what that post was insinuating. Especially as it was a track mentioned, Instead of the overall game.
And I'm not saying it's not a valid topic to discuss. And In that discussion I have given my opinion that it is a point of view that is completely wrong. And that opinion is unique, baring in mind it comes from an individual with the most accumilated playtime over both the platforms.
And that I can say strongly without a shadow of a doubt there is no difference.
