This is my take on the gas feature. At first I hated it. I didn't like having to wait for my fuel to refill or use in game currency to refill it faster. Now I have the opposite feeling. I think its a great feature to have. It makes it so the casual gamer doesn't end up playing for too long, and the hardcore players/fans can keep going(kinda). This is also a good way to limit kids. However I do think it should be improved in some way. Maybe make the starting gas tank size bigger or allow players to use in game money more often to increase the tank size. Something simple but not too drastic. And overall I like the game a lot. I usually can't be occupied by mobile games like this one, but Redlynx did a good job with this one. That's my two cents.

You guys think that the gas is the bigger problem on the game?? I say no, its not!! You get Free gas every 10 mis or so, so if you start on a track, the best option is replay it as much as you can trying to get a decent run, so when you are done with that track, you get a new gas can and now you can play another track...
Jarret, can you restart a level on candy crush with the same heart? Nop...

Things will be tuned/improved and all of your comments are one of the things we will consider as we determine how best to move forward. At this time I can't say anything in regards to what will be done or how things will change. But I can say that we know there is room for improvement, that was one of the reasons for having the soft launch. Regardless of wether you are for or against any feature in the game all of your thoughts and opinions are valid and worth expressing so please keep the input coming.

Here are my proper thoughts pm this matter...
I know mobiles aren't designed to be looked at for long periods of time but that should be up to the users discretion.
If I pay for a game, I expect to be able to play it and not for fuel to carry on playing again or buying extra fuel... that's ridiculous... it's obvious games are becoming more about money and not developing for the players worldwide and that disgusts me.
It's like there was a game you bought on the xbox, think it was Resident Evil and you had to buy an online pass to play. I bought xbox live gold to play online... now they ask us to pay for this to play online too? It's like doing that and quite frankly would not buy for this purpose.

Give me the option to buy the game outright and play ON MY OWN TERMS or I will skip the game completely. Its sad because Trials is by far my favorite franchise in the last few years. Notice how a lot of guys on these forums are saying similar things? Redlynx, you are pissing off your biggest fans. Trading us for the casual crowd. Remember, the casuals can be a fickle customer. Look at how quickly they got tired of motion controls and zynga.
Whatever, I just felt like complaining.... again.

I`m with Jook. When I start to see developers go in this direction, I think twice before supporting them in the future. The hardcore Trials fans who enjoy mobile gaming were an afterthought when they came up with these greedy "features".

The real shame is the game is really sweet and it's a shame there's no option to purchase unlimited fuel yadda yadda yadda

First off, I'm all for a one time unlimited gas purchase. However, as stated before, "whales" are the reason why F2P games do not include this as an option. They spend outrageous amounts of money on these games and that, in the end, is more profitable.
HOWEVER, isnt this games purpose to spread awareness of the franchise, and pull people in for fusion? Since an unlimited feul purchase just doesn't seem feasable, I do think that a social feature, like candy crush is smart alternative. That game blew up huge, because everyone knew what it was, because their friends wouldn't stop pestering about it.
So for trials, our friends could be our "neighbors", and we can help a neighbor out by giving them gas. We get our free gas, and redlynx gets a much bigger audience. In the long run I think it'll help them best.
