Re: Finally set up my Next Gen consoles...

WOW that needs to be in a thread on it's own. If that proves true for digital titles on the bone and it's not some kind of transitional glitch, then I'm getting rid of mine.

D2, if I were you, I would've waited till there is more info about the games or at best waiting 1-2 days after the game releases, because bugs can always happen on game ports, or worse: unplayable.

I don't get why people pre-order things that aren't even tested yet. I know there is still cancelling option, but it's like you're buying an unfinished product. One thing I can understand is bonuses, but many of them are worthless anyway. I would rather not take the risk pre-ordering something that would be flawed with a bonus content.

Re: Finally set up my Next Gen consoles...

Pinball Arcade is the best Pinball sim money can buy. It's hard to play any other pinball game after experiencing the physics on Pinball Arcade. Have been enjoying these since the series first launched and have kept up with all the tables. Am very tempted to get it again on PS4 for the much improved lighting. Apparently, Farsight are trying to negotiate some kind of discount for people who already own the game on PS3, but am not sure how that's progressing.

I totally see your point and agree in principal, but generally I know what games I like (and must have day one) and have very rarely been burnt pre-ordaining a game. I'm not hugely into pre-order bonuses as 90% of the time they're just lame costumes or weapons. In the case of the last few pre-orders, I had store credit already and there really wasn't anything else I wanted (that I don't have already) on any other platform so I opted to pre-order those games.

Thats why there's a link there!

    Discounts
We want to give players who own the PS3 and PS Vita content a discount on PS4. There have been some technical hurdles, but we’ve been able to work with Sony to implement a loyalty discount on PlayStation Store for the Season One Table Packs. Players who own all of the Season One tables can buy either of the Season One Packs for half price!

We’re also offering 10% off these Season Packs to PS Plus members for the next two weeks!

Re: Finally set up my Next Gen consoles...

If those discounts stack that would give me 60% off no? Think my rubber arm has been twisted if that's the case.

Edit: Apparently i can't purchase the season one tables at a discount because i bought all the tables individually on ps3 and didn't use a season pass. That sucks as at the discount price i would have pulled the trigger. Wont do for the full rip-off Australian price.

Edit 2: Ok something must be wrong. Looks like the PSN store says i have the season one bundle for both ps3 and vita...just wont let me purchase it for ps4. lame.
