I'm loving my Xbox One. Been playing Killer Instinct and Dead Rising 3 non-stop since launch. I hear Killzone on the PS4 is one of the best looking games that has ever been on any console but the gameplay is repetitive and boring, which is really unfortunate. At least it can be used as a good tech demo!

I can't wait for more characters in Killer Instinct and of course for Titanfall.

Killzone needs to be approached as if its NOT killzone. Its no longer a flat out all action guns blasting action fps. Wether I like the campaign or not I cant decide yet, but the game feels much better mechanically than previous iterations and as soon as I can get aroud to it I intend to give the MP a THOROUGH testing! lol

I'm a little addicted to DCUO right now, but Trine 2 is outstanding. Absolute bargain at £12.50 on PS plus as well, amazing game!

And I will have to add that the DS4 controller is head and shoulders above the 360 controller for me and I DID NOT expect that. I thought it would get close to the XB1 and MAYBE match the 360 controller. But it is soooo comfy and feels fantastic, I am mightily impressed by it.

For me, over the next 12 months there are much better exclusives on the PS4 FOR MY TASTES, so I'm not even sure I'll get an XB1 at all now. I love my PS4 and am really enjoying it, the only downside is having such a massively reduced FL!

its all personal choice and preference at the end of the day, and i see some good valid points here..I love my XB1.It suits me perfectly..I have to say that the controller for me is very good.The sticks seem alot more loose, and the height of them suit my thumbs perfect..the headset audio is spot on..A massive difference for the 360..

Glad you got your Next Gen Dave mate..I totally agree that this next few years for next gen gaming is certainly going to be a great one..Especially for us oldies that remember 'Spectrum48ks and commodore 64s' as being awesome at the time....

I've been hearing nothing but good things about the PS4 controller. I'm so glad Sony finally decided to completely redesign it (it's been the same since the original Dual Shock) without removing it's most familiar features.

This gen is all about the games. I'm sticking with XB1 exclusively as my gaming machine but I have a number of friends who've gone to the PS4. Oh well, it is what it is. Enjoy your new consoles, everyone!

Killer Instinct is a great game, it's a shame how much of a chore it is to send someone a simple ''good game'' message though. Xbox One seems a lot more disconnected in terms of community than the 360 - No recent players list; no notification when a friend comes online, instead you have to load up an app to see who's on; no notification when someone adds you as a friend.
I just wish they didn't get rid of the guide.

EDIT: One other lame point that I am sure alot of you are already aware of. I recall all the furor when M$ initially announced that Xbone was not going to come with a headset and Sony announced that the PS4 would. After all that M$ ends up packing a usable headset in while Sony includes an el-cheapo earpiece that's not even good enough for your garbage bin

Exclsuives on both machines are gorgeous spectacles. 3rd party titles seem to have the edge on ps4 (general consensus across the web). I have Battlefield on both consoles and can confirm the resolution and image quality on the ps4 version is marginally better. That being said the xbox version still looks good, just has slightly lower image quality and more noticable jaggies where there are none on ps4. You can't appreciate the difference from internet videos.
