Its a bit like stabbing yourself in the leg before a 100m race. You CAN do it, but why the hell WOULD you?Originally Posted by BlazingDude123![]()

Well I know people who play on Monitors with only 1 HDMI input, this would help...
My XBMC htpc will likely be passing through the XB1...
From what i hear the ps4 has restricted/limited game capturing so this would get round that but if it lags its pointless
In what way?Originally Posted by H3X23
Basically, the PS4 can capture up to 15mins of footage for upload to facebook and can stream to twitch (day one). Meanwhile the XB1 can only capture up to 5mins of footage but can upload.share to YT and PC as well as facebook or anywhere else, but cant stream (day one). Both companies have said YT uploading and streaming will be available in the "future".
But if you can upload to fb then you can download it from there, edit it and upload it to youtube anyway, its just a long winded process. So how is it limited capturing compared to the XB1? Essentailly, they're BOTH limited compared to a capture card if thats what you mean?
An hdmi switch will be MUCH better than X1 pass-through.Originally Posted by Euan
Like i said its what i heard. I havent researched it or anything as i dont have internet at the moment. Game capturing isnt gonna bother me either way. You sound very defensive of the ps4 barry you sure there isnt a fanboy inside you begging to come out![]()
I'll defend either when it comes down to features they have which are very similar. Just so people have the info to make a decision on their choice of console, without any misleading info. The capture abilities of both will end up being almost identical imo, but a capture card will always have more flexibility to it I think.Originally Posted by H3X23
