    Xbox One Unedited demo

Can't say I'm surprised kinect doesn't work quite as well as advertised. Not happy there's not really a storage management section. The rest looks ok though.

Voice activation is something the system gets used to over time, and half the video the ******* is using the wrong commands anyway.

Never the less, it's innovative and a step towards something bigger and better. Clearly.

    Awesome job MS.

As far as gameplay is concerned Kinect is a step backwards.

Yeah, that guy makes Kinect 2 look dumb, he should've used voice recognition a bit longer and correct the words. First time I've used voice recognition, it didn't heard me a lot, but today on the dashboard it hears me every single word that is 1-3 words! I will not fail!

DVR and Snap is so heavenly! I can't wait to make clips myself! And Xbox One would dominate the Skype of any other computers in my house, because it'll be all set up, and I can just "Xbox, call xxx" instead to set up the cameras and test if it works on PCs.

And yeah, it is really innovative, and shouldn't be spread with negativity. It belongs to the core of Xbox One!

LOL! 1min 30secs into the video and it already looks like a disaster Like shouting at a disobedient child, FUN!

Indeed. Maybe Kinect 5 will be good, but until then I stay well clear.

And hey you bought the damn thing! I recognized it for the worthless crap it was immediately (well it's not worthless as it's an early propotype for a Kinect 5 that could be good _)

Even the workout "games" such as Zumba fitness you are probably better off just following a routine on Youtube, if you have internet that is.

But it gives me no hope for "true" gameplay, that future developers to be grew up playing Kinect titles and dumbed down modern games. Oh well there's Dark Souls 2 to look forward to at least. 5 months

I look forward to making something really awesome in Trials Fusion's editor too, if there is more freedom next time (surely will be).

Other than Trials and DSII, there is nothing that has me excited, just stuff I have my eye on.

You dont have 3 kids between the ages of 3 and 6. I do. I thought they would like it. Turns out they also find it cumbersome and annoying instead of fun, they much prefer the controller and always turn down the chance to play a kinect game.

Having just received two consoles in the mail I can say I am totally impressed with it. Downloading updates and switching between games is a breeze. Voice commands are a bit cumbersome but might just take some getting used to on my part.

First impression is much better than my first PS4 impression.

Full body motion controls for games just seems counter intuitive in nature. Think of your body as a communication channel. Your hands, wrists, and fingertips are your highest bandwidth. So trying to talk to a game using your arms is like refusing ethernet and switching back to broad band dial up...

I understand this primarily focuses on voice commands, but that video shows me that its pretty gimmicky in the first place.

Id much rather refer to it as "Surveillance Box One"

Seriously tho, its just SO annoying and a hassle to use, it feels as though it was put in place and forced for reasons other than motion controlled gaming. Just check these out

Also, Cara Ellison interviewed Nick Burton, development director and Kinect specialist dude, and he had this to say.

Now I'm not insinuating that they're out to read my ***** levels, its all just a little too much for me.. I deeply value my privacy, and I take any intrusion to it in a very hostile way.
Microsoft, you don't need to know when Im playin with my pud. Leave that business to me!

@BDIdol: That video's credibility on some statements is highly questionable, but important points are made.
Either way though I'd rather people not support this machine/MS xbox division for numerous reasons, not just privacy.
