    Re: Iconic Games

Super Mario World and Super Mario Kart were my first 2 games ever. I was instantly hooked!

Mario 64 floored me with it's 3D world and was a fantastic introduction to a new era.

Super Monkey Ball was insanely addictive and made me instantly fall in love with the gamecube.

Tales of Symphonia on gamecube got me into RPG's

Timesplitters 2 (again, gamecube) was my first foray into any sort of editor. And was amazingly fun split-screen

Halo 3 was my first online game. Also where I met my best friends

Trials HD was not only incredibly fun and rewarding, but it got me to join an online community for the first (and only) time.

    Re: Iconic Games

going back some years now but 1st game that got me playing consoles was Kenseiden on the master stystem, i recently got an emulator for it to play it on my pc and brought back so many memories

a few years later i got a SNES and 2 games seemed to just grab a hold of me, Street fighter 2 turbo and mortal kombat 2, simply epic and very iconic games that are still just as fun today

after that it was big leap before any other games grabbed me, a good 10 years in fact, and that was Gears of War on xbox 360, absolutely incredible, i was instantly hooked on the blood and guts and gore with amazing graphics and gameplay movement etc, plus this game introduced me to a whole new generation of gameing - online gameing with friends

Then modern warfare made a big impression on me and for a long time it was all i played .........

......... that was, UNTIL, I was finally introduced to TRIALS HD this game was a breakthrough in gaming for me, the whole experience was new, exciting, exhilarating, competitive, addictive, creative, and just a hell of a lot of fun, this game basically K.O'd every other game i had ever played and is simply legendary.

Obviously next comes Trials Evo, a huge leap from HD where the game suddenly turned massive in size and became more then i could have imagined. Yeah there have been a few issues from the start with bugs etc but the game is so good that most people was able to see past this and still enjoy the game thoroughly. Both HD and Evo have brought so many people together on this forum encouraging each other, helping each other, competing with each other and sometimes competing with each other in editing competitions where we also help each other by testing tracks for people that we are up against ourselves. Trials created this community of awesomeness and the games and this forum are quite simply second to none
