Just thought I'd share this. The editor of Kotaku Australia has made Trials Evolution his game of the generation. Pretty awesome. I know it's just one guys opinion and we would all agree I am sure, but was great to see that there are mainstream media types that also really get just how awesome this game is.

It's always good to see that Trials Evo is getting some recognition

That's awesome, glad to see it got the recognition it deserves. I honestly do believe that Evo and Dark Souls are the two best games this generation has turned out. Whenever critics talk about how the creative user base of a game improves the game overall I always just wonder whether they truly know just how creative and amazing some people have gotten with Evo. I've played a handful of games that have editors in and, for lack of a better word, 'Track Centrals' and nothing I've seen has come close to what has been done with Evo. Watching vladiiiiiiiiiii's compilations really reminds you how much has been done.

Game of the generation will most likely mean game of the year, as the tech has been pushed harder and more done with it at the end of its cycle. Ignoring that aspect, I still dont buy anyone being able to choose game of a generation/platform. Taking everything into account, I think its impossible to pick out any one game personally. Better to have a list of 10-20 games imo.

Still, nice to see an arcade game getting some recognition. In terms of value for money alone, Trials should be up there.

I remember a site somewhere Trials Evolution was the best exclusive game for Xbox 360, without retail and arcade games separated.
