Hi, i'm really looking forward to trials frontier and i hope its similar to trials evo in this sense- no upgrades to change bikes performance. I more than welcome cosmetic upgrades to dec out your bike so to give it a unique look, but please no upgrades to speed, braking or handling or anything similar. When you change the performance of the bike, it has a whole new feel that you have to become accostom to all over again. Instead of upgrading the bikes handling and performance, please give us several bikes to choose from that has a different feel and specs. This way, you'll be able to aquire skills by riding the obstacles smarter to shave off time similarly to trials evo and not depend on performance upgrades to win.
In motoheroz, you had to upgrade the vehicle's performance to win races and constantly re-adjusting how you play due to those upgrades and i didn't find it funPlease consider this suggestion and Thank You.

I just learned about this being free to play with a limit or pay to keep on playing.... really redlynx? That is truly rubbish for a trials game!

I have to say this. I too was against free to play. I was ruined to the idea, but it doesn't have to mean the game is ruined.
Prior to the release of Plants vs. Zombies 2, I was really upset that there was a micro-transaction pay method.
Upon playing it, I have to do a full 180. There are good "free" models and bad ones. To name a bad one, Star Wars Tiny Death Star.
Some games just have an option to improve your playing experience, while others make it near impossible to advance without dipping into your wallet.
Here's what I suggest to the people who would rather pay for a game than pay "in the game."
Set yourself a budget, prior to the games release. I'd say I would pay around $10 for a mobile Trials game. Maybe $5 considering most other apps on the market.
Then when you get the game, browse what there is, play as much as you can without buying anything, and if you feel the need to, spend some money.
I personally have a line I draw where I won't pay for consumable items through micro-transactions. Again, looking at you Star Wars Tiny Death Star.
Items you get to keep are fine with me. Remember the game is free, and payments are just an option. This gets the game into the hands of more people.
To Trials riders as well as RedLynx, this is a good thing.
So in closing I'll say that while I still don't like the free to play method, it's not horrible. There are good ways and bad ways to do it.

I agree. Either sell the game as a whole or make it a free to play, similar to what was done on motoheroz. also, can we get combined leaderboards? I'm on Android, as the people who manage the motoheroz facebook already know, and i want to see my friends times who download it for ios. ALSO lets see some MOGA POWER A on the game. check it out its *****in!
I do not think that Redlynx has ANY influence in how the game is promoted, hence wheter it is free to play, pay to win or whatever.
They only develop the game, ubisoft does the marketing. Consequently your hate against the f2p system should be focused on ubisoft rather than accusing redlynx for this decision.
Its always the publisher who ruins a game, as soon as it gets famous enough. *looking at battlefield, dead space, sim city, call of duty, Fifa...*

Please please RL make sure the controls WORK.
there are Hundreds of trials games on android Mktplce &
NONE of em have sorted out the controls.
.......stickman downhill came close but thats not really trials.
Im desperate to get trials on my phone
but it will only stay on my phone if the controls are way better than anything currently available.
No2:
It def needs to have Leaderboards and cross platform LBs would be even better.
& next friend ghost would add a lot to the game,
Specially for re-playability.
Also agree with the above comments NO UPGRADES.
IF IT AINT BROKE DONT FIX IT.
(except the controls they need fixing)
