A few people (not myself) can't start the game right now and I've got a strange feeling that it's related to glitched scores again..
Supercross : 13 people above 10 million points, including 2 people with more than 1 BILLION points! (wtf)
Hardcord Trials : 7 people above 7 million points, including 1 with 868 million points (really?)
Hopefully this is the issue stopping their game from starting up and I hope it can be solved quickly if it is.
I've also sent a message to support@redlynx.com in the hopes of having this issue taken care of.
Edit:
One person tried reinstalling the game, uplay in offline mode, verify integrity of game cache in steam, nothing worked so far and no crash reports are being generated.
Correct, but i don't think this is the cause.
If the scores in the database would be the cause, then everyone wouldn't be able to run the game (like i do).
1st:
The problem of these scores that can only be realized in my bedtime stories have already been explained...
My idea is to change the way the client communicates with the "server/database" (Might be quite alot of work)...
2nd:
How does the hosting process work for multiplayer?

Thanks Psycad![]()
wel..im one of them who cant start trials. it runs in the background of my computer.
I uninstalled and re-downloaded all, wich is: trials, uplay, steam.but after installing them, stil cant start it.
And because some people stil can start it, i have no idea what the problem is.
also the progress bar of synchronize with cloud isnt filling.
wel...its fixed..had to reinstall my whole computer.
Reinstalling windows isn't really an option for me![]()
We are looking into this. Any additional information that you guys have would be appreciated.
Here is the issue as I understand it:
Steam is launched. Trials is launched from Steam. Uplay opens. Trials is shown as running in task manager, but is not shown on the desktop and is not selectable.
At first that was how it went yes.
Now i start Uplay + steam. I start the game from Uplay so trialsFMX.exe starts to run together with UbisoftGameLauncher.exe.
Then trialsFMX.exe shuts down but Uplay still believes that it is running because UbisoftGameLauncher.exe is still active.
I'm not sure if i can give any more information on this.
Thx.
I remember having had the same problem a while back and I remember ADAMFOOL87 had the same thing...with the only fix was to reinstall windows.Originally Posted by Smilies2013
To be honest, this is not acceptable in any way from a game. I have had alot of problems with other games in the past, but I have never had to completely reinstall my pc to fix a game, this is just ridiculous! I have alot of patience when it comes to games with bugs, but this one really pushes me to the limits of what I can handle. From bad optimization (i'm able to run bf4 with no problems, but trials tracks lag for no apperent reason), to leaderboard issues, replay issues, TC issues, server issues, uplay....I think everything that could go wrong with this game already happened and even way beyond what I tought was possible. And the major problem is nothing seems to get fixed for a long time, all the bugs just keep coming back after a while. I love trials, but it feels like the game wasn't even half done right when it got released.
Ok i have no idea why this worked but it might be a fix...
I deleted everything in de "data" folder and then i verified integrity of game cache in steam.
For now Trials is working for me.
Update:
Apparently this was a temporary fix for me...
When i try to launch Trials again, it does not respond anymore.
