Just checked and my connection is 30 down, 2 up and 8ms ping. That should be pretty lag free right?! WRONG! Once again COD is nearly unplayable for me.

Has anyone ever considered that its NOT your internet connections that are the issue, but the CoD servers? Again? Just saying!

Hey CagBall and anyone else who has the same problem, I don't know how many people here play COD a lot but basically if it's lagging and you have a good connection then it will be down to the hosts connection or the COD servers. Dedicated servers will only be on Xbox one because it would cost a lot of money on Xbox 360 and IW/Activision don't like spending their multi billion dollars to please their fans. And also on Xbox one they will use the cloud system to make dedicated servers a lot easier. If you find you're lagging a lot then try and change your search preferences to local, if that doesn't work then I guess it's down to the hosts 1998 dongle/McDonalds WiFi/Tesco Value Internet.

Lol cheers Baz. So, it's definitely not worth me paying for a higher speed service? I was thinking of upgrading to the 100mb just for COD but I guess that's a dumb move.

Also, isn't ping the most important thing when dealing with lag? 8ms is pretty good as far as I'm aware.

Cheers man. I try to play as much as I can without getting angry, but eventually it gets too much and I need to take a break. My neighbours must love me! The stuff that comes out of my mouth is so ridiculous it even makes me laugh sometimes. Thing is though, when I'm playing with friends, they don't have the same problems and think I just need to chill out.

I presumed that there wouldn't be dedicated servers, but didn't Euan say he'd read somewhere that there would be dedicated servers on the 360 too? Clearly there's not. This game is getting close to unplayable for me. Sometimes I can fire up to 10 bullets before getting a hit marker (and that's if the enemy doesn't freeze or glitch to another location, or turn around and shoot me). Last night it took me about 10-15 seconds to negotiate a doorway -that's when I turned it off.

Haha, the COD suicide helpline. And the parent COD suicide helpline for parents who have children who want to commit suicide from playing COD, I can imagine that; that's the funniest part of it all xD.

I don't know how to do it on ghosts but on others COD's I think you just had to press the back button when on the main multiplayer page, or try the settings section, I'll get on and have a look for you now
Edit, I can't find anything, guess that this game doesn't have it in, it probably has an automatic system which clearly doesn't work. Sorry to disappoint you.
