PC version not working!
I purchased the game on Steam, and was able to play it until a few months ago. What happens is that when I launch the game and hit enter on the start screen, the game shuts down and I get a message on uplay thanking me for playing the game.
This has been happening to others too but I have found no solution.

Try downgrading your graphic drivers if you have the lastest nvidia drivers. Also look in the config file (documents/trials evolution gold/config) to see if your resolution matches your screen's resolution.

The config folder has nothing, could you copy and paste yours, I'd like to change the information to suite mine.

You can just copy the file into the folder, just change your resolution first if it's different

Unfortunately that didn't work.
I did

and saved it as conf_graphic.xml
Doesn't RedLynx recognise this problem? I paid for the game and haven't been able to play in months, I think it may be a uplay problem.

Try backing up your config then changing profile_level="-1" to 0 or positive 1. Never done this, but dunno why there would be a negative number, usually these things start at 0
.
Another thing to try is to change the resolution to something smaller than your screen like 800 width, 600 height, then set Fullscreen to 0. It could be an issue with the video card, my TV simply does not like Fullscreen in some games.

yeah could be uplay. I had uplay updating once and it just literally broke the game. I had to completely reinstall windows to get it working again (and believe me, I tried everything else that I could think of before reinstalling windows), and I know someone else had the same problem and only reinstalling windows helped. It's not a fun job to do, but it could help so I suggest you try it

oh and if you descide to reinstall windows....don't forget to backup your tracks (documents/trials gold edition/savegames) All your downloaded tracks (with medals) / favorites and tracks in editor are in that folder
Uplay doesn't store that on the cloud so if you don't back it up you loose it
