I'd guess the Ps4 is 28% more powerful than the One, considering that 10% are reserved for Kinect.
I am getting neither of the two since the PS 4 does not really wow me with it's games either. I like the Kinect idea as a whole but seeing that most cross platform games will probably be a little weaker, it is quite a bummer. I'll veto on those two. I may get them after 5 years or so but I guess MS will pull a 360 on the One and release a new console after 3 years. Maybe Nintendo can convince me to buy a Wii U but for that to happen they would need to bring Pokémon to the big screen.

Personally, none of that matters at all to me, but hey ho.
I knew long before that Sony or $ony said it's up to developers or publishers (good luck with EA!) to decide if they allow re-selling. It was since June. But I don't care anyway, because I was never into Sony's consoles.Originally Posted by kidmpc
On the whole which is better conversation, I think this might clear things up............or not..........
Nah, I can clearly see that was made by Sony lovers/fanboys. Only neutral people that prefer NONE of any gaming device make better videos of it.Originally Posted by Barrybarfly

I do think though that the leaps forward will gradually reduce as what is actually capable with standard console gaming "peaks" without drastically changing the ways people game or use their consoles. Microsoft and Sony are trying to do that now with Kinect/TV etc. One thing remains that in 5-10 years time, when XBOX one has been out a while and image standards have progressed again, native 720p upscaled to 1080p will be quite dated.
Games look great on my 32" 720p TV that I sit 5' from. So, personally, I don't get why anyone is concerned about resolution. So what if it's upscaled!! And 4K isn't gonna be widely adopted like 720/1080. There's not enough noticeable difference unless you either have a 70+" screen and sit within 10', or use a 30" PC monitor. I'm pretty sure not many gamers have the money for a 70+" 4K TV. Even when they drop in price after a few years. Not to mention, I'm sure most people are perfectly happy with 1080, so they wont bother upgrading just because there're more pixels.
I'd rather they use the power to make gameplay better. Like more intelligent AI. Larger, well-populated areas. And spend more time on new ideas rather than squeezing every last drop from pixels.
Also, the law of diminishing returns.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not the kinda guy for whom this matters (as I can't really notice it), I just think that in any new product that's set to be around for a number of years, the latest commercially viable technologies should be integrated because that product will be around for a while, and to stop it becoming outdated too soon. I was just talking about in 5/6/7 years or so and whether this will matter then. Also, I was only raising concerns because I'm not the most knowledgeable on these matters -so feel free to enlighten me about how it won't matter.
I agree that making the game run smoother is also very important, if not preferable.
Every console ever made is outdated within 5 years. Not gonna be any different this time. Hell, they're already outdated since it's not the most up-to-date hardware. If they used current PC hardware, the consoles would probly be around $2000 (not too familiar with PC pricing btw). Not many would buy that. And at that point, you may as well just get a PC.
Debating about things that are at the end of the day a matter of personal preference is up there with posting hate comments on Youtube videos in my book of useless things to do.
