So I haven't played in 2 weeks since my semi final round.
I've been using this joint/muscles medication called meloxican, And resuming with icing my hand 5 times a day for 10 minutes.
I had a constant pain in the thumb joint between the lower thumb bone and the middle thumb bone in the 7 day stretch before the semi finals and 3-4 days after.
The constant pain is now gone, very occasionally I may feel the pain, like once a day for a split second. Its no longer constant and generally feels pretty good.
The urge to pick up the controller again right now is so strong,
I just can't decide whether to do it or not.![]()
Not worth it IMO. Wait 1 more week
1 more week would mean no practice before travelling.
Maybe I just play 1 hour today, 2 hours tommorow and gradually increase it.
And not play any hard/extreme difficulty
Is it a bad call?
I'm going to play for an hour then see how It is tommorow morning
(Pls could a mod move this to the TE GE general discussion, Not sure why I made it in this section)
As much as I want to see you do good in the finals, you shouldn't mess around with the hand imo. Give it the rest it needs, at the very least only play in short bursts.
There might be more competitions but I doubt you can get a replacement finger.

I'll see how it is in the morning, feels ok atm.
Maybe do 2 hours tommorow
The trickiest thing for me is consiouscly not putting hard pressure on the stick.
It's like i'm relearning to be as light handed as possible.
I tend to loose grip on the analog, with the tip of the thumb at times
You should take your thumb and smash it into a wall. That should do the trick.
How about I replace that thumb with your head?
Pssh, you wish breh.Originally Posted by TheBlazeJp
