Reinstalled windows, lost my custom tracks (SOLVED) | Forums

So I just reinstalled windows 8 due to some errors.

Is there any way to recover Track save files for the Editor & custom downloads from just Track Central?

I got my medals/times still intact as I have backups of the savegame folder.

Does anyone know if Track Editor saves are saved on the hardisk, and if so, where?

(Steam Evo Gold) I didn't have to reinstall the game as it's installed on my other HDD so the savegame folder had the same ID number as before.

Any help would be great.

Same goes for Track Central downloads but those are lower priority.

I have backups of my users / program files & documents folders, and I found the medal/playtime savegames already by searching this forum , just can't find any info on the other folders.

I know psycad made this object share tool, so object info itself can in theory be shared, but not sure about whole tracks.

I didn't really reformat any drive so it might just still be in windows.old or the old documents libraries (that I symbolic linked from my other HDD, windows just thinks it's empty at C: cause of the reformat so it doesn't see anything in there I suppose)

I will still be building tracks even if it can't be recovered especially after the 2 RL picks I got this month

As far as I know, custom objects and tracks (including downloaded ones) are all in the same folder (Documents\Ubisoft\Trials Evolution Gold Edition\SavedGames, or something like that).

Thanks, will look in the documents part when I get home in a few hours, as I really only copied back the savegames from the program files part. (medals/playtime)

All tracks (downloaded customs/editor tracks) + favorites are saved under documents/ubisoft/trials evolution gold edition/savedgames

Just put all the content from that folder there after you installed the game and you should have everything back

I know you can't share tracks, but you can just put all of yours back without a problem, already did it a few times myself
