Put my name down!!
I'm all for novelty bikes, glad they kept the Gecko because it's light and technical, and a lot of fun to mess around on. The Donkey should be in for the same reason, it offers a very different experience to the core bikes. And if any bike deserves to be included as one of 30 bikes in the game, it's got to be the nostalgic Donkey.
I had no idea they planned on adding so many bikes to Fusion. I see benefits to this, but I see a huge disadvantage too. The main benefit is that it allows for one track to be played in many different ways, assuming each bike will be unique in handling. The biggest disadvantage though is that it's going to be a pain in the backside finding the bike which is fastest on any particular track, and of course it will inevitably ruin speedrunning when there are bikes faster than the Pit Viper, just as the Roach is faster on certain tracks. Switching between two bikes I can deal with, but adding a dozen more (just adding one more) is too much for me.
I like novelty bikes such as the Donkey and the Gecko because they can't compete against the two core bikes, I don't think its a good idea to add any more bikes to the competition. The Banshee was okay because it just about couldn't keep up with the Scorpion nor the Phoenix, eliminating it from the competition. What would the purpose of a dozen bikes serve if they could all compete against eachother, you might as well give us performance upgrades to the Pit Viper! :/
You've obviously never played against one of us Donkey lovers in Supercross EVO. It's a beast. Pretty much wins on every track.Originally Posted by xMotionSickness Go to original post
