Re: Tom Clancy dead by 66

It makes me sad that the world lost a great writer. I loved reading the Clancy written novels, and also the works of others based off of his universes. I thoroughly enjoyed the games based on his universes and the fact that he started a studio and named it after one of his novels (Red Storm Rising). So many hours of enjoyment were had reading, watching, and playing about the Clancy universe.

I am mostly saddened because a friend lost his father. I never had the chance to meet Mr. Clancy, but I know exactly what it is like to lose a parent. My sympathies and condolences go out to his family.

As posted by my friend Chem on the GRO Twitter:

Hopefully we handle what aspects of his legacy are entrusted to us correctly and in a manner in which does his memory justice.
