Re: Anyone ever Injured your thumb when playing trials?

I've had my index fingers become sore from holding the throttle too hard, but that was back in "the early days" when I thought that 100% throttle all the time was a good idea.

The white bit on my left thumb nail now goes all the way down the side (to the bottom of the nail) from back in the HD DPad days. It's still the same even though I've stopped using the DPad now.

I guess I am one of the most "intense playing" Keyboardplayers but I never felt any pain in my fingers

Probably you are just a bit to dogged while playing Trials Blaze. Keep calm while playing and your fingers wont hurt anymore

I haven't ever injured my thumb in any game, PC Mouse & Keyboard or gamepad. But I still remeber when I twisted my legs on Dance Central with the Kinect sensor and I fell down. I was a noob dancer that time.

My left thumb from playing Extreme and Ninja tracks, and my right wrist from too much Minecraft on the PC. I also get a sore back from days off work when I stay up all night & all the next day gaming & Youtubin'

I've had something similar but it just randomly came, probably from weight training but if you try and bend back your finger, will your wrist hurt? And if you try lift anything heavy, even light then it's painful? I know what you're feeling I think, but when I had it I wasn't getting pain from playing Xbox, maybe you have it worse. You sure it wasn't from the gym?

Been working on cardio and legs over the past month at the gym, no hand weights/benching.

yeah with my left hand it hurts to hold any slightly heavy object mate
Imagine me sitting here grinding lots of track for loads of new PBs and practicing for the WC semis,
playing nonstop doing that for 4 days straight 8-12 hours a day.
I usually play alot anyway, I'm not sure maybe I just was playing too hard.

This is what he did to my hand thismorning,
Putting my thumb inside a fist an turning it downwards.

My god did it hurt :L

Just icing it every 2 hours, + Anti inflammatory every 4 hours. Seems to be numming it good.
I refuse to pick up a controller though and havent done for 3-4 days, as much as i'm wanting to lol :L

Just hope its not that bad

P.S If I do make it to the finals somehow,
I want a bucket of ice, It hurts but seems to work wonders for a short while.

Some of you may think I'm nuts to consider continuing, Maybe I am.
I refuse to throw in the towel, I'm gunna fight this :/
