[I spent a lot of time and effort on a track. When I uploaded it to Track Central, it became corrupt. My local save is also now corrupt. Can this be fixed?]
Ok i see, as i expected, the friendly way also won't work....
If your track is corrupted on Track Central, and your local save for the track will not load, then I am sorry to say that there is nothing that we can do to retrieve it.
oh seems logic, giving the builder the opportunity to "reset position" and when you use it you [redacted]!Originally Posted by ShiftySamurai

Good bye and good riddance. You will not be missed. I trust you can find the door out on your own
i can understand your frustration man, but its unacceptable with your other comments (now not showing)..thats just wrong dude...
A very bad post...seriously...
It's a game system from like 2006. **** goes wrong with the software. It's just the way it is. A post like this is ridiculous man.
Unfortunately there will always be bugs in games... but you shouldn't take it out on others homie.
Always save multiple files of a track in progress as you work on it, then you can re-release it if something goes wrong.
You only hurt your own reputation by acting this ... seems totally unappropriate, unneeded to use this kind of language.
Even if a track takes a while to make, and it sucks if something messes it up, in the end it's just a game.
Before people pile hate on LynxNinjaTrials, I would like to say that I understand why he is angry.
I understand why he is lashing out.
If I spent hours (days) working on a track and when I finally finished it, and tried to release it, it shows as corrupt on Track Central, and my current save no longer opens, I would be angry too. It would feel like a monumental waste of time. I understand that. I am sure that 99.9% of the other track builders here understand your anger as well.
However, there are hundreds of tools, and thousands of objects in the editor. There are, quite honestly, an almost infinite amount of possible combinations of those tools and objects. The tools have been used in ways that we never imagined they would be used. This is a testament to the creativity of the community. This also makes it very difficult to test every conceivable combination of objects and tools. I think that it is safe to say that track builders WILL do things that can confuse the system.
I would also like to point out that backing up files, not just on Trials but on any computer, is a good practice. Create multiple saves for tracks, that way, when something unexpected occurs, you have a means to continue your work with minimal setbacks.
