The nail in the coffin of GTAO will be a lack of any new content and the arrival of nextgen consoles. I just read the link being posted and I gotta say this first DLC is of no interest to me what so ever. The stimulus package is also of no interest to me but as it was promised it's getting annoying we don't have it yet. God knows when we will get the heists but they will more than likely be a let down too.
If this DLC costed money I would feel ripped off after buying it. Half the stuff that's coming was already in the game and they are just trying to make the life of the game last longer by releasing it slowly while killing the life nerfing everything!
Whereas if the content was already here, people may wait for nextgen as they feel like they would continue playing GTAO anyway and so they might as well wait and grab nextgen after xmas.
Roll on nextgen, for me.

Yer I completely agree Barry, I'm not getting next gen for a good few months but there are many games (batman,trials etc) that will be good enough until then. I was really hoping for the content creator but when it does eventually come out we can't make our own survivals so it's just even more things to turn me away from the game. To me creating races is not much different from impromptu races.

Given the choice of Planetside2, Killzone, Dead Rising 3, Forza 5, AC4 and who knows what else or GTAO with nithing to do, its pretty much a no brainer. Add in Batman, Lego marvel, Beyond 2 souls, etc for current gen and again, no brainer. All imo of course. It almost seems as if they believe people will wait for more content in preference to playing those other games (or others) but I just dont see it personally.
I think the hesits in particular, were the big hope of anyone who doesnt race or play competitive deathmatch. I/We could have waited if the missions available werent so repetitive and hadnt had the money nerfed. As it stands, its quite random who does and doesnt get half moeny. My mate is a low rank, new player and he is getting half money on level 40+ missions he hasnt even seen before, let alone completed. Its an absolute farce.

Pretty impressive stuff but a lot of them weren't made the same way we made ours. There's a way to use any image you want as your emblem using xml.

I'm seeing reports of people duplicating the SP Towtruck online and while driving it around it's somehow crashing and even bricking other players consoles. I do know the SP vehicles are being duped in huge numbers at the mo but aren't sure how much credibility to give these 'bricking' reports yet. Will post more info if I dig any up but in the meantime watch out for Towtrucks folks
Edit: As soon as the Towtruck enters your consoles draw distance it'll freeze your console apparently. Someone else's explanation of what's happening...
Because the tow truck attaches to the vehicle within draw distance, anyone who is (and stays) close to the tow truck while attaching is safe from freezing. This is because then the game knows how the two vehicles became attached. Anyone outside of the draw distance has their console confused as to how the two vehicles are attached, which causes the freeze.
Pretty much no public sessions till it gets patched if it's true.
