Hi all,
We received word from Microsoft late last night that the issues with Track Central's rating system should now be fixed. As you probably noticed, a previous fix last week actually ended up causing an issue which affected the ratings and download counts of older tracks. As part of the newest fix the MS server techs had to do a recalculation of the whole track central ratings system. It was previously possible for tracks to show higher ratings/download counts than they actually had. This has been addressed and with the recalculation all tracks new and old should now be displaying the proper download and rating count.
Unfortunately this may mean that some of your tracks will have lower download/ratings counts than were previously shown. We are sorry for the inconvenience. We will continue to monitor Track Central for further issues but, for now, it is safe to upload your tracks if you've been holding off during the outage. Thank you for your patience.
Side note: I will be combining all of the threads reporting this issue into a single thread. The posts are not being deleted.
Riders, get ready for an aweome week on TC as everyone releases held back tracks!![]()
Great newsthank you
hey i uploaded my track last night after realizing the TC was fixed. but 10 mins later it was broke again.. now many will miss the trackcould you remove the track from TC if the problem is not solved by tonight?? because i spent too much time on it for it to dissapear into the abyss for a week then reappear with hardly any downloads. cheers! this is not a complaint btw
just sayin.
I've noticed on "new tracks" no records are listed...stars or downloads.

Back in the day when Farcry Instincts: Evolution was popular and nobody was playing FCI: Predator, somebody released a patch that made every single map ever released prior to the patch appear as 'Corrupted' and unplayable.
Far Cry 3 was released with the ability to add guns and items where ever you desired on your map for multiplayer games. Shortly after, Ubisoft released a patch that DISABLED this 'glitch'.
Trials Evolution players thrive on attention and high ratings of their masterpieces through stars & download count.
>>> There seems to be a running-gag with super-popular Ubisoft games suddenly breaking or being patched in a way that pisses off the content-creators.
