BF4 launch wasn't very smooth for pc, lots of issues, but they are aware of it and will push out fixes as soon as possible, so I think it can get only better.

So far the game looks massive in content in terms of sheer amounts of weapons, far larger then BF3 if you combine all the new scopes/lasers/magnifiers and some new gadgets, lots of new camos and vehicle unlocks as well.
I only got to like level 5, and only played a few maps as well, 32 player has less issues then 64 in terms of lag at least.
Played most of campaign (you can get some multiplayer things from it) but had some silly crashes there as well, and had to restart a few bits due to things not triggering the next part of the mission but at least you can restart from checkpoint instead of having to restart a whole mission on most common crashes.
I think i went from level 5 to 6 like 5 times yesterday (with losing my progress every disconnect), massive server disconnects all over the place, but apparently a new server build is being produced, so hopefully it fixes stuff.
Still issues like sound bugs and flickering killcams, but only 1 real "crash" yesterday in about 2.5 hrs. And patch has yet to come.
Awesome game except the maps at times just feel so big, especially on 32 man.
I think the conquest large is only really well sized for 64 man yet it seems hardly any other gamemode like conquest normal is being played at all (might be due to servers crashing a lot).
Its like 1 guy at a flag at a time, and then some premade level 15-40(yes ive seen level 40+ players already) squad decides to whomp in and wipe you with their far more advanced weapons that take time to unlock like RPG and later assault/support guns.
And the starter anti tank takes 5 shots to kill an armored vehicle with only 5 ammo (it locks on targets tho and fires real fast, I have to see how the RPG and such do once I get it, the whole critical hit/disable thing is changed a lot.
IFV's also feel really soft vs MBTs, which they should, but it might be a case of the basic ammo doing like no damage vs tanks, later on you get AP rounds, TOWs do decent damage however and you can fire 2 in a row and then wait for reload(which is also pretty new to BF4, ammo is limited in rounds/magazines before it takes time to reload, and flare/smoke reload time is pretty long as well.
Can't wait to see how the unlocks will do later on, jets can get jdam bombs for example which hasn't been seen since BF2.
Hopefully once the game is more stable there will be some good deathmatch and rush servers.
Also the title of this thread "beta" just feels appropriate until most issues are fixed![]()

Hainan Resort is always a loss for the attackers, unless it takes the defending team a longer time to load the game, which happens a good bit.
I wish there were still countdowns before the game started, because my computer takes forever to load levels, even though my PC is pretty fast and should be capable of it. It takes like, 3 minutes some times to load levels whenever they're loaded, and no other game I have takes near 30 seconds. I wish they took more time to release it so we wouldn't be playing what feels like a beta still..
Had a couple of great games today.... And it bodes well..
But... It is still very broken and desperately needs a patch
The visuals issue are not an issue when it runs well, but as it is still Brocken...
Yeah...it needs some work
