    A real catastrophe,
    A crime to human kind.

I'm sure who ever wins will deserve to be the winner,
Baring in mind the added factor of being extremely different to online play,
And even then there will be more of these in the future, where others who cant compete now because of age restrictions will be able to.
Ultimately in my book all that matters is the gratitude of such a competition like this being created in the first place.
This as cannibal said is a prototype, a test run, something that is supposed to be fun for all, taken with a pinch of salt and most importantly enjoyed by all involved.

I didn't say a catastrophe or a crime; I said a shame. Yet another post that you seem to take personally.

Of course it's great that Redlynx is hosting this competition. But when you're competing over the "greatest player in the world" title, it wouldn't make sense for a top rider not to win it. If anything, it would just show the flaws of the way the competition is set up.

It's already pretty obvious that the world championship has flaws. Having an age restriction and having the semis be superscross really don't help in finding the best trials player. As Blaze said I think people should just enjoy the opportunity of such a tournament and hope that it can be improved in the future. The way it is set up anything can happen. In supercross you only have one shot so I wouldn't be surprised if a few great riders don't make it to Paris. Hopefully improvements can be made in the future to truly find the best trials player. Also good luck to you xzamples, I think you have a good shot at going far.

Due to unexpected technical difficulties we've been forced to take down the TWC 2 track on both platforms. We couldn't assure that TWC 2 would work perfectly on both platforms and that would cause the qualifiers being uneven based on the platform you were qualifying on.

We're now uploading a new TWC 2 track to replace the old one on both platforms so that we can keep this competition going. All the times and leaderboard positions will be fresh and we apologize for everyone who already made a time and qualified on the old track.

New track will be Out Of the Pit and the qualifying round will continue as normal. The only difference is that we're continuing the time frame of the second qualifying round. The second qualifying round will end now on 25.9.2013 at 01:00 am PT.

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

    I didn't Take anything personally.

    Out of the pit?, Nice
Makes sense to include a somewhat easier and shorter track with the time lost.

    Oh man....

i would be really pissed right now if i was eligible to play in TWC.. (im from the wrong country)

i took a half hour break from GTA 5 yesterday and played some Way of the Ninja
on Track Central and beat my single player time by half a second with a pretty bad looking run.
i can almost certainly get a time of at least 1:36...
i think i would have had a very good shot at qualifying for the
semi-finals with some top riders already being qualified as well as the kids not being eligible...

Good thing i cant play in the TWC anyway!

I disagree with your comments bro. Some of the top players have 50 days gameplay under their belts. Who's to say players that are outside of the top 10 are not worthy of the crown when they might have played the game less!
Players that are top of the single player leaderboards might not be able to handle the pressure of a semi-final supercross round or a live gameplay round in Paris.

i agree with you there, playing multiplayer is different from single player..
it takes raw skill, nerves of steel and you will have to able to freestyle through tracks when you are messing up.

Supercross however isnt fair in my opinion with the bad camera angles and the somewhat lame tracks.
But that has been talked about enough and its the same for everybody so they are just going to have to deal with it.

Really looking forward to watching some of the top guys play live in Paris, i hope it will be recorded

Days played is irrelevant. Especially when TC is part of days played. Trials has always been about what run you had the potential to get, not about what run you can get first try. Trials is a game of patience.

I understand your point, but my feelings are the same. Notice how I said a top 10 caliber player, though. A good example would be End of Assembly.
