It's a good idea. I have no chance to advance to the next round, but that'll be fun.

Cool contest. Thanks for putting it on. I have no chance among the Evo beasts out there though.
I would have considered using a NEW track, for a more fair playing field. If someone has ran "Under Construction" 1000x, vs someone who may have focused on other tracks in the game...they may have a "small" advantage. So, it's a little lopsided.
Either way, I couldn't even make top 10. I'd like to congratulate Speedrunnaked for the first win here. No shock. Lucky, iiStride can't even drive a car yet, from what I understand.
I would open the contest to anyone, not just over 18...I'm sure there are ways to do it, but the pesky legalities are a hassle I'm sure...so it was just easier to run it like this.

I second every negative comment about this "competition". It's an absolute joke. Why don't you just look at the global leaderboards and pick the fastest over 18 on there. What's the point in making a competition out of tracks people have already ran into the ground?

I agree, giving away ALL those prizes is so inconsiderate. I say you all stand by your principles and dont enter. I'll be happy to take all the prizes myself instead.

You've seen a single qualifier track... There are more tracks to come.

    Re: Trials World Championship 2013

Like everyone has said, allowing only 18+ is a bad idea.

The rating on this game is 12+ and people above 12 should be allowed to enter, if they are under 18 then they can only go if they have consent of a parent, even be accompanied by an adult if it came to it.

I know you're saying it's the rules but they can easily be changed if you just ask Ubisoft. There are ways around it. Like I've said, many people including myself would love the chance and can't because we are too young, I'm 17, nearly 18, being a couple months too young shouldn't matter.

I just find it so annoying how a lot of people that would have probably won a prize can't now even compete because of age restrictions. This is a once in a life time oppurtunity for me and a few other members and now we can't even compete because of age. There are so many talented riders that are under 18 and it's going to be so stressful for them knowing they could have competed.

All I'm asking Redlynx is that you try with all the power you have to change this rule. I've seen competitions for 16+, or younger with parent consent/ accompanied by adult so why can't you. If the game was 18+ then it would make perfect sense, the fact it is 12+ makes it hard to believe that, even with the approval and consent of the persons own parent, still can't compete in what they love to do best in life.

    , please change it, Venomz.

P.S. I'll probably get some of the adults hating on this cause they know that a couple/few riders would take the top 4 spots but, it's only fair. After all, the competition is to find the BEST trials player in the WORLD. Nothing about adults, all ages.

Venomz, I was gonna rip the piss a bit over some of your earlier posts ( not hate mind ) but your last post is very well put tbh. Unless this type of competition carries on with Fusion/Frontier..it is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I empathise with your feelings. I'd like it if they manage to include the under 18's too but I doubt it'll happen, maybe this is something the comp organisers could bear in mind if it does happen again.

I do hope there's an original track next week.

If you read the official rules :

This is section 3, paragraph 3: LIMIT: One Prize per person and account over the Competition Period. Entry in the Competition
does not constitute entry into any other promotion, competition. by participating in the
competition, each entrant, and entrant’s parent/legal guardian, if entrant is less than the age of
majority in his/her state of primary residence
, (collectively “Entrant”) unconditionally accepts and
agrees to comply with and abide by these official rules and the decisions of Ubisoft Entertainment
SA, 28 rue Armand Carrel, 93108, Montreuil-sous-bois, France (the “Sponsor”), whose
decisions shall be final and legally binding in all respects.

Does this mean that if I bring a parent/guardian I can go?
