Yeah I agree man, didn't take in the caliber part obviouslyI'm a bit annoyed at the way Red lynx have dealt with this tourney but I do understand it's a new thing and will take time to get right. Good luck all

@The Xzample: The winner is the winner, and it has nothing to do on where you are ranked on the leaderboard. Simple as that!
That's exactly the problem. A true competition to find the best would almost ensure a top 5 rider would win.Originally Posted by Blastergamer

But a football team isn't forced to played baseball either. Making top players play Supercross is just asinine. It's not what we do.Originally Posted by Barrybarfly
A track is a track. You just only get one shot. Its the difference between qualifying and a race in motorsport. Qualifying gives you multiple laps to get a good time, racing means one mistake could screw the race. Its all still motorsport, same as this comp is still trials.Originally Posted by ChicagoAJ![]()
Things that don't make Supercross trials:
1) Terrible camera angle, half the time when airborne you have no idea when you're going to hit the ground.
2) If someone is far enough in the lead, the whole field suffers poor visibility, then when it snaps to the rider in front at the next checkpoint it's like restarting the whole race.
3) If someone starts on the bottom of the screen every time this gives every other player a disadvantage.
The tournament should simply be MP (anything but Supercross).
Aren't the semifinals played over xbox live?Originally Posted by ChicagoAJ
Because those two thing only happen in local supercross.![]()
The camera angle isnt that bad. Certainly no worse than gigatrack or certain areas of other SP tracks.Originally Posted by ChicagoAJ
Noone suffers poor visibility in MP supercross, unless its local. Online MP isnt effected in that way.
The easy solution would be to do 4 rounds on each track in order to rotate the lanes between everyone.
So it is still trials, just with a slightly different camera angle and occasions when someone may block your view slightly. But thats the challenge. Its like the difference between roller coaster or Inferno. Downhill dominator or Down in the dumps. Different techniques, styles, bikes, etc. With those tracks everyone has had to adapt. Supercross is the same thing. Everyone just needs to adapt. Its a level playing field for everyone, a great spectacle for anyone watching and has amazing prizes up for grabs.
+1. Maybe he was getting confused and thought the people going through will play supercross in the finals as well possibly.?Originally Posted by stiggyhead
