^ This. I also make this sound with my throat, it's a bit of a quick growl. If I'm getting really frustrated I'll throw the controller but I still have enough self control to throw it at something that won't cause damage like a pillow.

I used to get gamer rage really bad but not so much these days. On SNES through PS2 I broke my fair share of controllers tossing them in frustration. Fighting games were my real rage inducers. Street Fighter II on SNES followed by Fight Night on PS2 being the worst. Fight Night was one of the only games that would actually cause me to go into full on fits of rage. That game would have me screaming at the top of my lungs and beating the piss out of inanimate objects (even then I was still usually smart enough to hit something soft). Luckily I've cooled down a lot since then

Heard that sound in the stream actually!

CoD:MW used to make me really rage, mainly at teammates who weren't "doing their job". I mean seriously, if you're watching the "left" and die at least say you've dead so we know we might get flanked YOU F***ING STUPID WHINY *** BI**H m****R F*****G C**T OF A *****! I dont play CoD anymore. Mainly because it got really ****, but also partly due to the fact I found Zen.

Need Lethal Gangsta to get his *** in here. That mofo can rage like the best of them!

    Re: When you RAGE

I swear up a storm when I get angry at a game.
If I get too frustrated it's better for me to just quit and leave it alone for a little bit.
Sometimes I smash my controller on the bed.
I used to throw it on the ground but having to buy a new controller because of a frustrating game sucks haha.
    (Thank you MW3!)

I remember when I used to yell at COD 4 with the windows open and my dad was chilling outside.
My mom would tell me to close the window if I was going to play COD... fun times.

    Re: When you RAGE

Trials is the perfect game to rage on and yet for some reason i never do.
i do get annoyed at times, mostly at my own inability to execute whatever im going for.
Then ill say some dutch or english cuswords but it doesnt go past that.

a game that has made me rage for real though is Fifa.
i used to be quite good at Fifa 10 & Fifa 11. Im not saying this to brag but i almost never lost on those games.
But the times that i did lose or was about to lose i would get REALLY REALLY angry.
Ashamed to say this but it even went as far as punching a hole in my living room door one time, almost broke a chair another time.
I would scream out swear words for about 30 seconds or so and shut the xbox off.
((after finishing the game btw; i have 0% DNF in all my Fifa games and im proud of myself for that))
But then id be playing it again the next day... glad i dont play it no more.
    Edit:
Those Fifa-Rage moments only happened in the privacy of my own house,
when playing with real life friends or family im way more relaxed..
i have banned myself from playing fifa online competitively, i took it way to serious.

    Re: When you RAGE

many things, i swear loudly, grip the controller really hard and imagine snapping it in half, do a pretend punch to the face of whoever made the track , shout a long "noooooooooooo" followed by "right you little fu#;er" and then go back to beast it , pull a rly stupid face if its late at night to stop from shouting, but sometimes when i loose a sick run rage doesn't even come into and instead utter devastation hits and its a loud "noooooooooooo" but with a rly sad face

    great thread btw

In fairness, Gerb is more of a rage choker. He tries not to swear and chokes half a word out!
