On Hanf's newest track, Chrombacher, has light rays in it (not just lens flares). How can I do that?
Why not ask Hanf himself, or is he keeping quiet about it?
its easy..think about it..light,high sttings, then break it up by using planks og would side by side, but with a slight gap...thats how i would try to do it...
but, i would box in the light source first, to make sure the light rays go exactly the way or direction you require..
I've asked Hanf about it, and he replied me yesterday:
Translated: "hi, small flames (the big sands effect) + area affector.. try that around a bit.. greeting"
Interesting, I never thought of that one!![]()
Hmmmmm.. this is a bit suprising..Ill have to have a play around with this now, to see how it works...
It looks awesome with it! Just turn the area affector's angle so, that it's blowing the candlelight sidewards, and then increase the force very high. You can also try this on sparks & magic globe and it got a new effect!Originally Posted by Morfyboy
cool..i understand it now..what a great thought process behind this..bravo...hanf
Particle effects + area effectors can combine into awesome new stuff indeed, pc doesn't have the DLC effects but can still do quite a lot with the water/sparks/fire etc.
I only discovered it like 3 weeks ago when I was working on my volcano track to make lava(2 colors of water effects) spout upwards.
Hello, thank you for this but I've already got that!Originally Posted by TeriXeriSee posts above^
