Our disappointment for the lack of attention to the leaderboard integrity is justified. And it has affected a bunch of peoples' score. It's not a waste of time, it's a sign that they care about some of the most passionate players in the community.Originally Posted by xIronWarlordx

This thread most likely would've never been created if these two weren't given special attention. They wouldn't have been given special attention if it was a critical video about the game. You said it yourself: They respond great to "positive" feedback. Well, who doesn't respond well to being praised? Stand up developers are appreciative of all feedback, not just positive.
Their "old" game. SMFH. Quake live is over 5 years old, and it still has new gametypes/maps cycled monthly. Because of the developer's undying love for the game and its fanbase, it still has a thriving community.
i know you dont mean it butOriginally Posted by xzamplezlol, if the editor screws up we all loose, not just the builders, lets just prey for an almost bug free fusion
@BPRJCTX & Claudia - No, thank you both for sharing the story with us.
I think that the first statement is obvious. The thread was created in direct response to a blog post. Without the blog post, it wouldn't have been made. The reason it was given "special attention" was because it is a special story. It's outside of the day-to-day operations, and it was a nice surprise.Originally Posted by xzamplez
I slightly disagree. Most developers are appreciative of constructive feedback, criticism included. Feedback can include phrases like "game don't work", and nobody appreciates that, because it isn't helpful. it isn't constructive.Originally Posted by xzamplez
We certainly appreciate all constructive feedback.
I have watched a few of the vids and I thought they were good. To be honest though, I felt it was a bit dry. While the show consisted of you two talking a bit intamently, viewers have no clue to about anything else about you. (What you look like, where are these people?) Kinda felt like I was locked in the closet with you two as both of you were making out. So with that weird disturbing feeling I got from this, it gave me a dasterdly great idea. Why not have a three way? I would like to keep seeing the stream with a third wheel. Somebody new each time perhaps. It would help having the extra person with chat and keep things fresh, so as to not keep mingling over the loveydovey sloppy kissy ick. For interests on who a person to try this with maybe is and others might like this too I think. Try getting purple oozie, Shifty Samurai, Morphy, iiStride, Vladiiiiiii, BarryBarFly, WILLYUMZ, NSIPvenoms, BigShotRob, everyone I didn't get to put in here but I wish I could/would of but didn't cause this sucks useing theXbox controller while typing this out. Takes forever..all people that might want to participate from the community. It's a big game and lots of people. Would be cool to see everyone with their own little youtube video.

woooo! GAY POWER!
Otherwise what's your favorite color? So I can go back and edit it in.
While I personally like the idea of adding an extra person, it would have to be it's own seperate show.Originally Posted by T2idingJVlower

Is that why TE:GE is never going to fix because people reporting "cannot start game", "game doesn't run/work" or "... issue in the game"?? Is that not something that should be reported, or should the game leave unfixed?Originally Posted by ShiftySamurai
Well, I could've misunderstand you, and you may meant "the game isn't gonna working"?
For me, if I were a dev, I would've ignored these hate phrases and just move & on fix the issues. Haters are in every game & everywhere, but shouldn't just don't fix it because of a few dislikers.
Oh well, another topic in a thread.![]()
I was serious when I said that people send messages with no info other than "this game doesn't work". When dealing with a PC there are almost infinite configuration possibilities and more information on the problem, as well as system configuration, is usually needed.Originally Posted by Blastergamer
