    Re: Premier League 2013/14

Any thoughts on the latest manufactured lamestream-media
hype around Nicolas Anelka and his "anti-semitic" gesture?

Thoroughly enjoyed all the ignorant pro-establishment newspaper/site
hit piece articles almost comparing Anelka to hitler

i guess the FA are going to fine or even ban him now for racism.
Pretty sad because the gesture that he made is actually kind of pro-semitic when you think about it.
But i guess it is too difficult for the self-appointed free speech police in the fake-liberal media
to figure out the difference between anti-semitism & anti-zionism...

(Yes, i know. No politics allowed. But this is a thread about football and
Anelka is a football player so this is a relevant topic is it not?)

    oh and Go Arsenal!

And congratulations to the Fulhammers with the sacking of Jol.
We still have nightmares about him in Amsterdam.

Yeah I thought that was blown out of proportion aswell, but I might be biased there

We're in trouble if we dont get a result against Newcastle today

Of course you would be. Throw the book at him, and while we're at it, Charlie Adam as well.

I dont think Chelsea need Rooney or a player in the Rooney mould as you have soo many of those type of players already. I always feel Chelsea need to have some proper wingers, rather than the plethora of Number 10s. Therefore you're not always relying on the fullbacks for width all the time, and of course having more options available in different situations as well than bringing a No.10 on for another No.10.
But yeah, its an interesting tight table this year at both ends. Fulham now out of the relegation zone...for now, results went our way apart from West Brom (sorry Willy), could of done with you at most drawing, not this winning lark to keep you more in the picture.

@BigSh0tRob - I know right, Jol is one of the worst managers thats been in charge of Fulham, he never seemed to have a game plan. It only seemed to be pass it to Berbatov and he'll do the rest, but when that doesnt work, well....good luck. Played Ruiz constantly which is bad enough but then played him on the right wing instead of Dejagah is mind blowing (plus generaly any other option on the right). I could go on, but does this sound anything similar to what happened at Ajax?

    Re: Premier League 2013/14

    Lmao! omg yes it does!
Same exact game "plan" except we had Luis Suárez instead of berba....

He would play kick & rush, everything long on Suarez and then see what happens.
He also bought a ton of really expensive foreign players that added absolutely nothing to the team.

Jol was so bad he actually caused a "revolution" in Amsterdam.

Former great players like Johan cruijff, Bergkamp, de Boer brothers just to name a few, basicly demanded
the board of directors + Jol and staff to step down and they replaced them all with former Ajax players.

Now the entire club is run by ex-players. Since Jol got sacked they won the championship 3 times in a row
without buying any expensive players. And almost all the players are dutch nationality wich is great.

Would have never happened without Jol, so i guess we gotta be thankful for him in a way.

i mean the dutch league is a total joke, but still a pretty amazing turnaround for Ajax.
Now all they gotta do is win the champions league a couple times..

Surely you're not gonna begrudge us those 3 points after 9 games without a win alex Tough games ahead for us though, we really needed that one.

I see Mata is the top trend on twitter atm after José said hes free to leave - lot of people talking about bids from United, PSG and Inter. And a lot of Chelsea fans saying that he should not be let go, but tbh with Hazard, Willian and Oscar all playing so well I'm not surprised he doesnt play him. They need some width and/or a forward that can hold up the ball and provide for Torres/Eto'o imo - still think they'll take the league this season whatever happens with transfers.
