    Re: Gaming: Kids vs Adults

I have a collection of well over 1500 games on my shelf across 12 systems. I have played Trials almost exclusively for the past 3 years.

My kids love games, they play all kinds. From the NES and Original Gameboy to the xbox 360 and 3ds. Every games is exiting for them.
Myself? I have come to terms with the fact that I am mainly a collector, I play the occasional new game but I get most of my gaming enjoyment making tracks in trials or playing through older mario and zelda games one more time. Funny thing is though, I love following the newest gaming news and trends... I am fascinated with the industry as a whole.

I do a bit of both. I play newly purchased games as soon as humanly possible. And If I got more than one, I try em all to see which one I'll play thru first. Love it!

When I pick something up in a Humble Bundle or Steam sale, I'll get around to playing it eventually. For games that I buy at launch, I'll play them straight through until they're finished.

There are very few games I've I actually been "giddy" to play though. I think Portal 2 was the last one.
Then there are games like Skyrim, which I just casually play for a few hours every two months or so, just whenever I'm in the mood for it.
