    ADDICT!!

ROOKYJ HOW MANY YEARS PER DAY DO YOU PLAY THIS GAME?

Robz, can you please determine who is the overall best player by comparing the rankings with the collected gold? ;D It wouldn't be HIM (okay, me neither). Maybe Hige?

Anyway, never mind, guys. I blame this post on the fact that it's very (very) hot here in Vienna :/

Man, I must be the best player in the world! haha

In all seriousness though, I've thought about this stat (points per gold) in the past and it's hard to really rank someone based on it. For example, going with the player that inspired you to start this thread - RookyJ. He didn't start from Day 1 and he also missed a bunch of days due to injury. If he had just put in a few minutes each day playing with his toes during his injury days, he could have gotten a decent chunk of points without that many runs (i.e. gold).

So, maybe you need to also factor in the number of days that you actually played... points per gold per day played... or something like that.

Haha, great - thanks, Arian Number One!

You're right, you definitely have to consider many different factors. I think it took me maybe two to three months to really figure out how to play well. If you from then on just spend five minutes every day, almost everyone of us would still be in the Top 200 every day.

Also, finishing within the Top 5 in a run takes at least ten times as long as compared to just getting into the Top 50. But in terms of points, it usually doesn't make a big difference if you're finishing #45 or #15 (not always though).

As the 'worst' on this top ten list, I will only say that I loves me gold.

    Re: ADDICT!!

I figure "on average", I play about 4 hours a day. That's "on average".....collectively. There are days I put in far more than that....there are days that I put in 10-20 minutes and I'm done....but trying to give an average (which seems virtually impossible at this point).....my best guess is maybe 4 hours, and that's leaning very heavily in the favor of the longer days.

    So that's 1/6th of a 24 hour period I collectively play Heroz, or .167% of a 24 hour period.

So going further. Dividing 4 hours a day by 365 days, that means I spend 0.01095.......years a day playing Heroz. Assuming I got my math right.

I hope that helps clear things up.

    Re: ADDICT!!

Any person that starts playing the game late. Say now, while replays are free....could quite easily be competitive in a very short period of time. Thereby having a very nice points to gold ratio. Verses those that have played much longer.....long before replays were even an option. I believe if replays were never incorporated into the game at all....this might not have been too bad a way of judging someone skill level....except you still have the same problem. Maybe they just caught on quick....b/c someone was feeding them hints on how to play a level....and their points to gold ratio remains exceptionally good.
