Seems like the Object manager cannot work properly for me at the moment since I use a different Drive for windows documents (symbolic linked some windows documents libraries to my D Drive to save SSD room)
My Save game folder exists, it's just in a different folder but I can't assign the proper folder to the program and I don't wanna mess with the savegame files themself.
I know it's new and an awesome idea, but there might be more people using non-default folders for their save game (other then c:\users etc etc) would be nice to have a way to pick a custom path for save games![]()
Nice work on the site/program. I'll try to upload a few of my favorites/setups today but I noticed today some don't have the proper orientation from when I saved them to favorites (they are turned). Is there a way to get them orientated properly? Or did I do something wrong
Thank you xXRajadoXx, can't wait to see some of your creations on there, I loved the japanese themed objects you made for the Dojo track.Originally Posted by xXRajadoXx
Thanks TeriXeri, I certainly hope it will. I'll be taking care of your issue with the Object Manager today, I should have thought about people using a different drive to store their documents in the first place.Originally Posted by TeriXeri

Thanks bass, and thanks again for helping me with the testingOriginally Posted by basslineux001When adding a favorite make sure you're high enough from the ground or the object will be oriented all wrong, as for saving, i'm not certain, maybe group everything to make sure the orientation is correct.. I'd have to look into it.
Sounds like a very cool idea.Originally Posted by Blastergamer
am i the only one who doesn't like the idea of sharing favorites?
Trials Object Manager has been updated to 1.2. Download TOM v1.2
Release Notes:
Fixed a bug when importing Zip files (thanks CannibalShogun)
Added an option to set a different documents path (default is Users/[username]/My Documents), from the menu: Tools->User Document Folder->Set Folder (thanks TeriXeri)

I'm pretty sure you're not the only one but like xXRajadoXx said, it can be used as a tutorial source to learn from others. If you're worried about multiple tracks using the same objects over and over, as the database grows you will see less duplicates being used.Originally Posted by sparkierjonesz
It's up to the people themselves if they want to publicly share their objects, like others said, I think the nicest part is sharing complex trigger/event systems etc.
Anyway, tested 1.2 and it picked the correct folder right away, Importing ZIP works as well as the more then 20 favorites in a group .
Thanks for the quick updates, love the program already.
No problem. Always happy to help.Originally Posted by psycad
It will be specially useful for beginners and I'll probably upload some pre-made setups, like for moving objects/randomizer...Originally Posted by sparkierjonesz
With the custom objects we can only hope most people modify it a bit (wich I always will). It just gives an opportunity for more people to build better tracks in less time. If we can improve the quality of TC with our own custom made objects (wich you probably never use again without modifications) what's the harm? It's not that you have to share your best work if you don't want to![]()
