Vanillaware's latest and it looks awesome. Not waiting on the PAL version, ordering the NTSC version now. Going to get the PS3 version and maybe the Vita one later. Anyone else getting/playing this?
I said to 'rillo I would get it if other people were, just because coop looks like a blast! Looks like Golden Axe, Borderlands and Oblivion rolled together (side scrolling, action, looting, RPG see?). So count me in for some coop action!![]()
I love Vanillaware games so this was a no brainer for me. Shipping from Hong Kong so I'll have it within 1-2 weeks.
Ordered a new PS3 and am sending my old one in for repair so should be back in business within the week. My Last of Us disk is stuck in my old one so wont be able to finish my 2nd play through until it's done.
Bounce bounce bounce bouncy-bounce![]()
I was interested for the Vita, but I read that co-op is basically a must in reviews, that the single player experience is kinda meh.... I dont play well with others.
I would have got the Vita version as well, but with the Aussie dollar dropping importing isn't as cheap as it has been over the past years.
Wait a sec, Dragons crown is a full price retail game? No chance, looks like a PSN game to me, I'm not paying that price for it.![]()
Each to their own. I'm a huge Vanillaware fan and 2d hand drawn art is their trade mark. It may look like a PSN/XBLA game in screen shots, but I assure you it was painstakingly constructed and is likely to have a stupid amount of gameplay. Do your homework and make up your mind, but totally understand should you decided to put the funds towards something elseOriginally Posted by Barrybarfly![]()
Mine arrived, but I can't touch it yet. I have a nice new super slim ps3 right now, but my fat is in the repair queue and my hdd is useless until I get it back to do a data transfer
Aaah Sony you suck :-p
This looks pretty cool, though I'm guessing it's 'RPG lite'. If so then that's a shame, but it's to be expected of modern games.
Still, I find it appealing, price tag aside.
Will probably pick it up when I get a PS4 if it's available on that system at the time.
It better have an awesome soundtrack. You don't do old school without a great soundtrack.
